@EricTilbury_RTB This is already happening...but what's actually crazy is the size of the margins being taken, enabled by SSPs that only care about shifting spend from competitor SSPs.

What’s crazy is that with curation and sell-side decisioning, a really good programmatic buyer could do some damage in the form of consulting. I promise you this, a buyer that really knows what they are doing with just a curation account can outperform most entire programmatic orgs in terms of value add from programmatic ads.

News flash for those of you who don’t realize it — ssps and challenger dsps love adcp because it removes the human element from channel allocation. Which means all of those dinners spent wooing agencies to consolidate on 1-2 dsps get flushed down the toilet if it succeeds — because the whole “I don’t want to manage multiple dsps” reality gets turned on its head. An agent will manage 300 dsps if it drives superior results.

@mikefeeley When I ran Zemanta - we offered logs to our advertisers - never got asked for once (they were very handy for NHT credits w/ SSPs tho)
