In terms of traditional folk music, Scotland has the best songs, Ireland the best tunes, and England the best dances. I have researched this extensively.

@mikefloorstand @johnandi @FeyeraBender But in this election I think the columns should be identical. Given that a Labour government will continue all of the horrible trends, surely an accelerationist wanting to totally destroy the credibility of elections ought to help them win by as big a landslide as possible.

Anyone have any idea how to get this boiler working again? The pressure dial had dropped and I've topped it up again, but taps and radiators still cold. Button on left that looks like power does nothing

@FeyeraBender And while some things may conceivably get worse for workers under Labour, one might think even more things would, under a continuation of the current Tories, get even worser.

@FeyeraBender The opportunity cost of voting is minimal though - it will take you 10 mins to vote. That 10 mins will not be critical to the success of organising yourself into a communist party.

@AlanLevinovitz Isn't biodiversity generally "good" regardless of whether it's "natural" though? At least, I don't think you can argue that an example of biodiversity is "bad" simply because it was created "unnaturally".

I think there’s a very interesting relationship between the terms/metaphors we associate with “good” natural systems: diverse, stable, healthy, etc. They vary from culture to culture, depending on the values people hold. (“Safe,” for example, or “accessible.”)

Biodiversity is a very common but flawed measure of a “healthy” or “natural” ecosystem. Classic example is Antarctica: Biodiversity there is largely due to humans bringing in other species. We could inflate biodiversity artificially (and in other areas as well, like deserts).

Apprentic candidates should form a union so they can take industrial action if anyone gets fired unfairly.

In U.K. national statistics re ethnicity for black peoples you are asked if you are black African, black Caribbean, or any other black background. There is a separate section for mixed ethnicity. Question: who ticks other for that? Is it mixed African/Caribbean parentage?

They should train AI to identify valid arguments and then have an option so I can choose not to see tweets containing logical fallacies.
