FAU did it with CUSA resources. Liberty did it before NIL was serious year 1. Jeff Brohm was unlucky that we weren’t winning those two ‘ships in a down year.

Kids aren't committing to a school. They're looking to get paid. That's why this system has to get fixed starting with the unlimited transfer

@WKUFan518 @TheTowelRackWKU It's hard. Look at Butler U. They had a good run from 2007-2018 but haven't been to the NCAA champ since. But no doubt they made money in 10/11 for making the final game.

I hope it can get back to that level but in today's work, I don't think so. It's gonna take alot of work. And mostly money

The people who remember 1993 are all nearing retirement. Students have zero respect for WKU. They need to be educated and they need winning.

There’s ALWAYS a chance. Freaking HIGH POINT nearly made it, damn it! If they can, we can. I’m not giving up. That’s for sure. NOW or extremely soon is the time to make it happen, though.

@WKUFan518 @TheTowelRackWKU I would rather WKU MBB win the conference consistently or finish second and win 1-2 tourney games vs a once in a lifetime run to the final 4 and then we don't do it again ever. We need to be on the RADAR each year. Not "remember when" we went in the 70s.

Oregon and Gonzaga are very similar programs in the respective worlds of College Football and College Basketball.
Both programs have been relevant on the national stage for a significant period of time, but neither has won a national title and they always come up short of the big goal.
Gonzaga lost in the NCAA tournament last night, suffering their second consecutive exit in the Round of 32.
Oregon got annihilated by Indiana in the College Football Playoff semifinals last season, and in 2024 they were a one-and-done with a blowout loss to Ohio State.
Will either program get over the hump and win their sport’s national title in the near future?
