My ideal Giants free agency: • Eluemunor back + high end OG (Teller, AVT) • Top Tier LB (Edmunds, Chanel, Anzalone) or Flott/CB • High End TE (Likely or Njoku) or Mid Tier WR (Mooney, Hopkins) • Vet DT • lower tier signings of CB/LB and TE/WR whichever we don’t land above.

ESPN sources: Giants All-Pro defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence has requested a trade and he will not be participating in the team’s off-season workout program that opens Tuesday. Lawrence and the Giants have been through two off seasons attempting to negotiate a contract reflecting his value to the Giants over the last three years, but there has not been any progress, per sources.

Trade down or Love/Tate are my ideal Giants draft plans. Styles checks a lot of boxes but too inconsistent of a tackler for me and LB bust odds are high especially at 5. Downs is elite but not a game-changer and that’s what you take inside the Top-5 unless you’re at a bluechip position.

Giants went into last season with Slayton/Hyatt as WR3. If they can turn that into Austin/OBJ/Slayton, you do it. Depth and let them compete for snaps. Nobody expects OBJ to be a 800+ yard guy, but he is still a very good route runner and red zone target. Also a great mentor for Nabers and the entire offensive unit that’s full of young guys.

I’ll make my case again: I want the Giants to sign OBJ. I believe his combo of 1. hands (due to elite grip strength/concentration) 2. Route savvy 3. Release package off LOS makes up for any lost athleticism. His tape with John Harbaugh in 2024 was LEGITIMATELY damn good tape.

Thanks Jimmy. That’s all I said: not Giants, just one of 32. Watching yesterday he showed he still had a skill set that could be used especially in red zone. See what he has left in a specific offense. It’s a two-way street as well. OBJ needs to accept where he is now.

@DCBaldBoy @art_stapleton Like Art said, teams are going to look to bring him in for camp. You’ve gotta believe any deal for OBJ will be minimal with tons of incentives built in. Again, if he’s healthy, (and he looks to be) he is better than what we have—even at this stage of his career.
