@coopernicus01 NFTs are actually now able to represent equity interests in companies within USA legal framework. But no PFP collections were all used to are structured this way so far.

A product being expensive does not make it an investment. You're not investing in Lamborghini by buying their cars. Every time a NFT project sells a new collection I hear people say they're "raising money" as if it' is an investment. It's not, you're buying their product. You're a consumer. They're not "raising money from their community" they're selling you products.

@CryptoStache Some of my favorite games were not AAA. Rust, ARK, Tarkov, Minecraft, Runescape etc.

Games don't have to be "AAA" to be fun and enjoyable. I'm tired of hearing "no web3 games are as good as cod, Zelda, or csgo".

@mikepacehax @brycent @ReadyPlayerRich @Dexerto You probably know this already but DigitalOcean is IaaS and AWS is PaaS, which are very different offerings. Unfortunately, DigitalOcean’s barebones isn’t suited to most serious companies. Once your service & company grows, you’ll have have to choose one of PaaS like AWS or Azure

@brycent @ReadyPlayerRich @Dexerto We switched from AWS to DigitalOcean and we were able to cut costs by almost 35% without any change in performance. It can defiantly vary based on the solution you need but I would guess most companies on AWS could cut costs without a noticeable change in service.

@Grummz @Dexerto Kick can also just not use AWS and switch to one of the other countless identical services.

@Dexerto AWS server costs don't go to Twitch. If Amazon tried degrading or shutting off services to Kick, the would face a severe anti-trust lawsuit.

Checking my false consensus bias. I believe games should make their game accessible to content creators offering to make content for free. They can still be selective, but free marketing is free. Should games give content creators preferential access? [Inspired by Cagy]
