Platforms like this should create accessibility, equitable distribution, and respect each participating individual’s choices. They should not be used to weaponize rhetoric by on or a few individuals over hundreds of millions of others. By definition, that is an autocracy bordering on authoritarianism.

I often find that that the people most heralding AI as the future of everything are the same people avoiding current responsibility for anything. (And for context, I work in the space, but I see very few high-utility ethical implementations.)

The future of gaming is UGE (user generated experience), UGC is a fundamentally limiting concept.

The new generational shift from consumption economics to creation economics will upend every industry.

Reading AI headlines & it can definitely become a threat, but it's not a default outcome. The monumental underlying issue is that most industries operate on an anachronistic economic model & most people don't differentiate between actual skill + reasoning versus memorization.

@evernote As of the most recent update, you have a MASSIVE UI/UX loop issue has effectively locked me out of my *paid* account and you are holding years of my data hostage to upgrade on an account I already pay for, for the 2 devices I only use. Also locked out of web so I was unable to send a support ticket until I used my browser dev tools to hack the lockout modal. Complete bullshit after being a paid customer for a 15 years!

@mikekarnj @levelsio Yep, exactly what I'm doing. If you can build & have skills/team, one doesn't exclude other, even in the same startup. Forces hard focus on finding product/market fit & a sustainable business model upfront, driving better outcomes, value creation, & impact vs chasing VC numbers.

An entire generation of new wealth built on revolting against toxic "old ways" are now trying to enforce equally toxic "new ways" that aren't so new anymore. Ironic on countless levels.

Yesterday, GPT-4 connected to my Google Docs and Google Sheets. Soon, it will connect to my email account. Then, to my SMS. Then to my Twitter account. You see where this is going, right? AI agents managing all our communications and data.
