The truth on any given subject is almost never found directly in the middle between two opinions (for example, let’s say conservative and liberal opinions). Most often, the truth lies more on one side than the other, and those that regularly seek to find a middle-ground truth are overly agreeable and guided more by (often unconscious) self-interest than virtue.

@DavidAFrench When the amendment was written, do you think they intended to endorse a Chinese Communist birth tourism industry that has allowed 1.5 million Chinese to birth “American Citizens” on a remote U.S. territory north of Guam and then raise those “Citizens” in China with CCP values?

Today is Good Friday. Thank you, Jesus for your amazing and unthinkable sacrifice. You died so that we would have life, and life in abundance. “It was nine in the morning when they crucified him. The written notice of the charge against him read: the king of the jews … With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last. The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, saw how he died, he said, ‘Surely this man was the Son of God!’” Mark 15

🫡 talking culture with @mikeswriting used to get us in trouble because we both had so much more important work to do 🤣
Michael Austin@mikeswriting

So proud to see a clip of my guy @RussSpacy on last week’s FNT defending LOTR as a Christian work, and clearly articulating the allegory vs. thematic distinction that separated Tolkien from Lewis! There are SO many of us working in conservative media who believe the movement needs to better engage with pop culture (Russ and I have discussed this at length over the years), when too often conservatives dismiss it, or offer ham-handed analysis that labels everything either “based” or “woke.” Good folks like @Nerdrotics, @GeeksGamersCom, @razorfist, and others have created spaces where conservatives can enter that conversation, so now it’s up to us to do so competently. BRAVO @RussSpacy!

@mikeswriting I guess that makes it more embarrassing then, that two camera-facing representatives of the company could get something so easy so wrong... and then at least one of them quadruples down on it for a "stick it to the haters moment."

I've already counted 44 books that specifically discuss the Catholic and Christian dimensions of Tolkien's work. It looks like there might be north of 100 published works across 7 decades... If TPUSA commentators can't get this right, what can they get right?

Transgender activists used to run this same tactic, which we now see with the Groypers: they mobilize their bots and basement-dwellers to "ratio" tweets to create the feeling of social punishment for believing that "girls can't become boys" or "Israel didn't kill Charlie Kirk." Both ideas are false, of course, and Torba is precisely the kind of man who is inducing the "full-blown schizo meltdown about the Jews," which is why he took the bait here. The solution is simple: tell the truth, which will outlast the ideological fantasies of the Groypers and the ephemeral clicks of Nigerian bot farms.

Some dude with Tourettes involuntarily said the n-word and the national press, along with activist groups and Hollywood actors, had a two-week meltdown. It comes out that Mamdani’s wife said it casually and voluntarily and it’s total silence. Weird how that works.

BREAKING - New CNN polling reveals that despite blackpilling from the terminally online, President Trump’s approval among MAGA is at 100%, and more importantly, Americans who identify as MAGA have not decreased but have increased by 2% since 2024. Podcast bros in shambles.

"Trump's approval with MAGA GOP is literally 100%." "MAGA makes up the same share of voters as it did when Trump won in 2024." Remember this next time you see a story quoting Tucker, Bannon, Greene (and probably next Kent) saying MAGA is mad at Trump and splitting. It's not.
(((Harry Enten)))@ForecasterEnten

There's no break in MAGA. Trump's approval with MAGA GOP is literally 100%. 90% of MAGA GOP approve of US military action in Iran. Those who disapprove of Trump are not MAGA at this point. Importantly: MAGA makes up the same share of voters as it did when Trump won in 2024.

Unpopular opinion: Joe Kent should have never been hired in the first place because his wife wrote for a far-left anti-American rag at least partially funded by Iranians.

Joe Kent could’ve used his resignation to say something incisive and true about the war he now claims he can’t support (even though he vocally supported Trump’s regime change policy for years) but instead he just revealed that he’s been mainlining the usual algorithmic brain-slop

If you're reading Kent's letter and wondering how it makes sense for him to say his wife died in a war fomented by Israel when she died in Syria from an ISIS attack, understand that "Israel controls ISIS" is a popular conspiracy theory in some parts. It shows where his mind is.
