If you're Indian - your chances of managing affairs in the club are negligible. You need to be European or of European descent. Yet from its earlier days - that's a big improvement. Most clubs in Mumbai banned India until 1947. Breach Candy Club as well. After 1947 - most clubs permitted Indians to become members. But Breach Candy Club did not. They allowed Indians only in 1960. Even the diplomat and politician Shashi Tharoor was given that lesson when as a child he tried to enter the club. His foreigner host had invited him but that entry was not permitted. You didn't just need to not be European. You needed to even look European. A French woman was so tanned that everytime she had to carry her passport to ensure she was permitted inside. Indians were permitted entry into the club in the 1960s because of a black American diplomat. The black diplomat was brought by his white colleague for a swim but was shunted away. The Americans protested. It triggered an outrage that eventually opened the doors to Indians Even today Indians are not allowed voting or management power of the club. Even today, the management of the club is almost out of bounds for ‘plain-vanilla’ Indians. The odds of a European chef becoming a member with authority are probably higher than that of a young Indian CEO of a unicorn. Is it the most racist club of India?

घुसपैठ और अन्य कारणों से Unnatural Demographic Change किसी भी राष्ट्र के वर्तमान व भविष्य के लिए एक बहुत बड़ी चुनौती है। इसी चुनौती से निपटने के लिए 15 अगस्त 2025 को प्रधानमंत्री @narendramodi जी ने ‘High-Level Committee on Demographic Change’ की घोषणा की थी। मुझे बताते हुए हर्ष हो रहा है कि सरकार ने इस कमिटी का गठन कर लिया है। जस्टिस प्रकाश प्रभाकर नावलेकर (सेवानिवृत्त) की अध्यक्षता में बनी इस कमिटी में जनगणना आयुक्त के साथ श्री दुर्गा शंकर मिश्रा (Retd IAS), श्री बालाजी श्रीवास्तव (Retd IPS) और डॉ. शमिका रवि समिति के सदस्य होंगे। संयुक्त सचिव (Foreigners-I), गृह मंत्रालय, इस समिति के सदस्य सचिव होंगे। Demographic Change हमारी संप्रभुता के साथ ही राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा, कानून व्यवस्था, सामाजिक संरचना में गंभीर बदलाव और जनजातीय समाज के संरक्षण से जुड़ी एक गंभीर समस्या है। यह कमिटी, अवैध प्रवास और अन्य असामान्य कारणों से पूरे भारत में हो रहे demographic changes का व्यापक मूल्यांकन करेगी और धार्मिक एवं सामाजिक समुदायों के स्तर पर असामान्य जनसंख्या परिवर्तनों के pattern का विश्लेषण करेगी तथा इसका सुनियोजित और समयबद्ध समाधान प्रस्तुत करेगी।

Today, I submitted a written request to Union Minister for Minority Affairs @KirenRijiju ji seeking the exercise of the Centre's supervisory powers to remove properties that have been illegally uploaded on the UMEED portal. The Waqf Board registered 404 acres of Munambam land on the portal without complying with the provisions of the Unified Waqf Management, Empowerment, Efficiency and Development (UMEED) framework and the applicable provisions of the Waqf Act. Under the law, only the Mutawalli is authorised to upload Waqf property records to the UMEED portal. In this case, that authority rests with Farook College. Yet, without following due process, the Waqf Board unilaterally registered the property. These violations have been formally brought to the attention of the Government of India, and we expect appropriate action at the earliest. The people of Munambam deserve justice, and we will continue to pursue every legal and administrative avenue until it is delivered. #APAKADAMPolitics

When addressing such a horrific tragedy, the public expects, and the victim deserves, absolute decorum, seriousness, and respect from law enforcement.
