I rewatched the The Matrix Reloaded on a flight from Los Angeles to Chicago last week & it was electric. Exceptionally fast flight. I will forever continue to wonder why this movie isn’t mentioned as an all-time great sequel. There are 4 sequences that are visually jaw-dropping.

@WilliamWho27 Problem is we have two Tennant Dr’s left hanging.The Meta Crisis and the 14th.Hopefully the Meta is safely locked in the parallel world with Rose but the 14th is sat there doing nothing with a Tardis as well.Needs resolving one way or another.

I do worry no matter what the show does. The general public just won't accept anything without David Tennant now like bringing him back has sadly made the situation worse as he's even more become sort of the default Doctor.
We need another Eleventh Hour so badly after Christmas.

@CalumCorral @Uniquely_David They have only just got the film prints. It takes ages to sort through them (as there could be more than one episode on this collection), restore them and come up with a plan to announce them.

I can’t find the original comment on Facebook (I’ve got this second hand on Gallifrey Base), but apparently Film is Fabulous has secured the private collection of the deceased film collector who had at least one missing episode of Doctor Who.

@ZandrTec @frombwtocolor They should have done the same with the TV movie. Yeah, it’s great to see 7 and for him to regenerate, but it’s too far into the movie when 8 finally appears. He should have started 100%

@frombwtocolor Funny how RTD side-stepped this issue by completely ignoring 8 in 2005. There is absolutely no reason why Paul McGann couldn't have either A: done a regeneration or B: just been The Doctor.

Although Sylvester McCoy returned for The TV Movie, Phillip Segal fought against other creatives who wanted Tom Baker to return instead as The Fourth Doctor, which effectively would've retconned 80s Who. How do you think it would've been had Philip not got his way?

@TheCyberdevil I remember going to my local Woolworths on the scheduled vhs release date of the TV movie to find that it had been pushed back a couple of weeks due to ratings issues (the cuts described above)

Whilst I’m over the moon we are getting The TV Movie in 4K, I’d love to get the Doctor Who episode actually made in 4K to get a release.

@TheCyberdevil The TV Movie being shot on film means the resolution of the negative is even higher than 4K, so if there was eventually a format better than 4K The TV Movie would scale even higher while the new episodes would be always remain in 4K.

@katebattrick @PaulDraper I loved Mansun in the 90s. Sadly the bands legacy has been spoilt by Draper’s antics over the years and I really can’t bear to give him or the band any more of my attention, especially after reading a post from Chad a couple of years ago about PDs behaviour towards him

Hey no judgment on my end. As long as you enjoy yourself and have fun.
I personally do this because it forces me to get better. I generally have slow reaction and processing speeds compared to the average person so I feel like it’s a great mental exercise to do it that way. I try and force myself out of my comfort zone.

Finished Alan Wake 2 ✅️
One of the best examples of how to do a story with dual protagonists. Remedy masterfully uses different mediums for it's storytelling that kept me guessing from start to end.
Great atmosphere and incredible music too.

@Danimalish As someone who was looking forward to seeing Nic Cage as Superman in the 90s and was very disappointed when it didn’t happen, I was over the moon and clapped loudly when I saw this in the cinema.

@BobRushy @DDayFilms Yes I get that. The character I don’t have a problem with it’s some of his actions are used for plot conveniences, like him dropping tracking beacons for the Russians.
