When I taught HS we used to ask what the MS teachers were doing with their time Now that I teach MS I know. Surviving. That’s what MS teachers are doing It’s all a mess, y’all. Everyone is doing their level best to get some educating accomplished. Just back off the blame game

I get asked why I went from being open to limited school voucher systems, to being a fierce critic now. Answers: 1) the results came in—and they were horrific. 2) what’s kept them going is a Christian Nationalist moment I reject and denounce. It’s okay to change your mind.

I was touched to see Gus Walz’s joy when his dad @Tim_Walz took the stage last night. Thankful for you showing us all what real love looks like, Gus.
