@BarclaysUK @BarclaysHelp URGENT 12 months with no action. My 78-year-old dad lost £120,000 in a crypto scam via his Barclays account. I submitted the full evidence pack a year ago and have chased every few weeks still no case handler, no update, no safeguarding, nothing. He’s a vulnerable adult caring for my mum with dementia. He was targeted AGAIN and scammed out of another £16,000. We’ve already spoken with national media, Private channels have completely failed us we urgently need someone senior at Barclays to intervene. Action Fraud reference available via DM. Thank you @lily_alohaa I have done this I’ve followed the link and instructions they gave, but it isn’t working it keeps taking me in circles (see screenshots). I cannot get to the “lost access” ticket form at all. My dad is elderly, vulnerable, and has already been scammed twice, so he cannot go through online recovery steps himself. I need a secure way to send all the details, evidence, and the Action Fraud reference. Please can you provide a direct support email address, or an alternative way to assign this case to someone? We just need one secure point of contact to review and help us move forward. Thank you — this is very urgent.

@CoinbaseSupport Hi, I need urgent help regarding a serious fraud case involving my elderly father. His bank (Barclays) is trying to contact Coinbase to freeze/review an account that received his stolen funds, but we have had no response through normal support channels. Can someone please assist?

Update: Barclays are now saying they “can’t do anything” despite my dad being an elderly vulnerable customer and despite £186k stolen. This is exactly why we’re asking for senior intervention. We’re being bounced between institutions and left with no support.

My elderly, vulnerable dad has been scammed out of £170k and then another £16k. We’re desperate for help because every organisation keeps passing us around and we’re getting nowhere. Any guidance or support from @BBCScamInterceptors @BBCNews would mean a lot.

My dad is elderly and doesn’t use apps or technology confidently. I’m trying to protect him, but the lack of communication and support from these companies has been overwhelming. We just need some guidance to move this forward.
