@SagenwirMariani @FakeHeadteacher No drawing pins? I use hessian and pins so my boards can be updated regularly and are very eco.... no backing paper/staples etc.

@FakeHeadteacher Impressing Ofsted ... wevare now told that Ofsted won't allow twinkl, so have to make displays of modal verbs etc from scratch. And we are not allowed to use drawing pins or sugar paper ...

@RuralSchoolHead We are the same. I'm in my fourth year of teaching (third in same school), the talk and fear of Ofsted is real. A member of SLT has said that the head will very likely choose my lead subject (music) for deep dive. I am so worried about it. Wish I'd never had that conversation 😕

Another week goes by with #Ofsted continuing to hang over us! When I walked through the door in September we thought they would be in before October. It continues to rumble on. Friends and family ask every time I see them. Wednesday 2pm hits and for 5 minutes I breathe.

@CR_UK 8 years on and my 13 year old is still showing up for the Warminster branch of Cancer Research UK. She was awarded the Junior Civic Award this year for her charity work having raised thousands since her first flag day when she was 5. Proud of you Jess.

@minster_c @Natures_Voice @BirdWatchingMag T & J made bird feeders as part of the RSPB bird count at school. Absolutely incredible footage of our garden birds feeding from it today. We were shocked and amazed by the blackbird's wingspan.

@jonnybid @DeputyGrocott This is depressing 😕 I worked a short day today actually leaving just a bit before 5. 7.45am-4.45pm. 9 hours paid me a few pence over £7 an hour. Don't get me wrong, I love my job but its defo not for the pay! I typically work 7.45am - 6pm every day (Mon-Fri)..even less p/h.

Interesting question asked of me via dm: Is there a way of working out a teacher’s daily pay? Obviously it’s different depending on pay scale.
