Hey I’m Milo! I failed English so hard in my Chinese high school that people laughed in my face when I said I’d study in America.
- Grew up in the hood of Beijing.
- Dad worked himself into the ground so I could get an education.
- High school teachers bullied me for having too many opinions and refusing to shut up.
- After high school I did the jobs nobody wants: handyman, food delivery, salesman. No college. No plan B.
- Two years of pure, brutal English grind later I got into Columbia.
- Then I walked away from Columbia and chose Swarthmore instead.
Fast forward:
- I’m a proud US citizen now 🇺🇸
- Co-founder & CPO of Evermind Labs.
- 300k users in 2.5 months. Still climbing.
We’re building the AI that actually protects people from mass surveillance and creative censorship instead of enabling it.
Hot Asian. Good at math. Locked in for years. Now I’m done hiding.
