I'm excited to share that I've been accepted into Network School by Balaji Srinivasan. A bold experiment in building a startup society from scratch. In a few weeks, I'll be joining 200+ other pioneers on an island near Singapore to help build what could become the “Harvard of the 21st century” (as Balaji calls it). When I saw that v1 had 4,000+ applications from 80+ countries for just 128 slots, I knew this was something different and impactful. It’s not just another program or accelerator, it's the beginning of a new kind of community. Why Network School resonates with me: >World-class network: The Previous cohort learned from Vitalik Buterin (Ethereum Founder), Bryan Johnson (Dont Die Founder), and other visionary founders - the same caliber of speakers we'll have access to. >Strategic location: An island near Singapore, perfectly positioned as a hub for tech innovation and global connectivity. >Measurable growth: Focus on key metrics - learning technology, burning calories, and building community, etc. >Scalable vision: This is v2 of a multi-stage plan that will eventually create a template for startup societies worldwide. The v1 cohort proved something powerful - you can actually materialize a cloud community into physical reality with people who initially only knew each other through screens. I'm really looking forward to starting this incredible learning experience.

@vijaythirumalai You’re judging for charisma over signal… Dario may not be flashy, but his depth and signal density are on another level

People who refuse to quit are usually either trying to prove someone wrong or refusing to admit they are wrong.

Could definitely work, but affiliate programs usually create a different kind of operational overhead rather than removing it. You’ll still probably need someone to vet submissions, manage affiliates, prevent low-quality referrals/spam, and keep incentives aligned. Otherwise it can turn into quantity over quality pretty fast.

I think I could 3x acquisitions on TrustMRR with proper cold emails, but I don't want to do it, and I don't want to hire someone, so I'm considering opening an affiliate program. If you refer a buyer, you get 50% of the fee (1.5% of the asking price). Yes or nah?

Google published their generative AI optimization guide today(link in comments). Worth reading in full if SEO and AI search are anywhere near your job description. The headline quote: "Optimizing for generative AI search is optimizing for the search experience, and thus still SEO." Things Google explicitly says you don't need: → llms.txt files → Content chunking → Rewriting copy "for AI" → Inauthentic mentions → Heavy structured data lifts Things that actually move the needle, per Google: → Non-commodity content with first-hand experience and a real point of view → Clean technical structure and good crawlability → Search Console verified and monitored → Merchant Center and Google Business Profile data where relevant → Real images and video on the page Where I'd add a nuance Google didn't: This is Google's view of Google's AI surfaces. ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and even Gemini's broader retrieval all work on different signals. The strategies that get you cited in AI Overviews are not the same ones that get you cited in a ChatGPT answer. Four things to do this week: 1. Open the guide and check the myth-busting section against your current SEO playbook 2. If your agency is selling you llms.txt installs, ask them to walk through the evidence 3. Audit your top 20 pages for first-hand POV vs. recycled commodity content 4. Verify Search Console if you haven't, and pull the AI search filter inside the performance report The fundamentals haven't changed. The vocabulary has.

How do people even do AI hackathons these days you're just sitting around waiting for the agents half of the time?

I’ll admit — I’m impressed by what people like @elonmusk , Jensen Huang and @MrBeast have managed to build by working continuously. Genuinely impressed. The output is staggering. But I don’t admire what it’s done to their lives. Or their health. Or the people around them. If your business only works when you’re exhausted and omnipresent — and when you force everyone around you to be the same — you don’t have a company yet. You have a job. But it’s one with worse hours and less stability.

The ultimate Indie Hacker cheat code: Building from Saigon. 🇻🇳 Low burn rate = infinite runway. When your overhead is low, you have the headspace to experiment, pivot, and build without the stress. The energy here is unmatched and the coffee is even better. ☕️🚀

It's happened. My OpenClaw and Hermes Agent are now chatting with one another. The cyberpunk future is here, but hopefully it's a whitepill instead of a blackpill. Let's try to push it to the former.
