#StrategicStability = Managed Instability in South Asia

MindoverMic@mindovermic11
This short unpacks a critical but often misunderstood idea: strategic stability in South Asia. Why does deterrence stability matter more than arms race stability in our region? And what does that mean for how crises unfold between India and Pakistan? youtube.com/shorts/5GK0m3T…

As an Indian, heartfelt thanks to the Pakistan Navy & PMSA for their swift humanitarian response! ⚓🙏
When MV Gautam faced a technical fault in the Arabian Sea, PMSA Ship PMSS Kashmir rushed to assist following a distress call from Mumbai MRCC.
Providing food, medical aid & technical support to our 6 Indian crew members and 1 Indonesian is truly commendable.
Humanity First 🙏🏻🇮🇳

Official Press Release
Pakistan Facilitates Transfer of Iranian Crew Members:
As a confidence-building measure by the United States of America, twenty-two crew members held aboard the seized Iranian container ship, ‘MV Touska’, have been evacuated to Pakistan.
The individuals, who were flown to Pakistan last night, will be handed over to the Iranian authorities today.
The Iranian ship will also be backloaded to Pakistani territorial waters for return to its original owners after necessary repairs.
These returns are being coordinated in tandem with the support of both the Iranian and US sides.
Pakistan welcomes such confidence-building measures and will continue to facilitate dialogue and diplomacy while pursuing ongoing mediation efforts for regional peace and security.

In response to media queries regarding a social media post by the British Special Representative for Afghanistan, the Spokesperson, Mr Tahir Andrabi, stated the following:
We have seen the social media post by the British SRA regarding developments along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border. The one-sided remarks are devoid of a deeper understanding of the situation along the border.
Cross-border aggression and terrorist infiltration attempts from the Afghan side have continued unabated despite Pakistan’s goodwill gesture of a temporary pause, announced in March 2026. Since then, indiscriminate and unprovoked cross-border attacks by the Afghan Taliban, and terrorist activities by Afghan Taliban-supported Indian proxies inside Pakistan, have resulted in the shahadat of fifty-two civilians and eighty-four injuries.
Pakistan, while exercising restraint, has responded effectively by precisely targeting Afghan Taliban posts and terrorist support infrastructure, while also thwarting multiple infiltration attempts from the Afghan side. Afghan claims of civilian casualties due to Pakistan’s responses lack evidential credibility.
Such unwarranted remarks, without linking them to the root cause of terrorism, do not offer a balanced and objective perspective.
We urge a better understanding of regional dynamics, Pakistan’s principled stance, as well as the unparalleled sacrifices rendered by the people of Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.

For too long, conversations around strategy, deterrence, and security have stayed within expert circles. But these issues shape all of us and they deserve to be understood more widely.
This post explains what I’m trying to do with the channel @mindovermic11 and why clarity in these conversations matters.

The shooting down of 8 Indian jets took all the spotlight, but what people don’t realize is how difficult and daring the S-400 mission undertaken by the PAF actually was.
The JF-17 pilots had to penetrate the Maximum Abort Range (MAR) of the S-400, launch the CM-400 missile, and return safely without being shot down.
This mission changed the course of the war.

When India says it has called out Pakistan’s nuclear bluff, it betrays a poor understanding of what the latter’s FSD is. In this @mindovermic11 short, @Rabs_AA explains FSD and pushes back against the assertion:
