@mintstate70

I like Dynasty FF, numismatics and camping. Politically varied. I don’t vet who I engage on X. If you’re offended by what I’ve said: 1) good 2) assume satire

@RichardCabezza @oldpapermoney The actually are ‘making more of it’ and for some reason, this is one thing ‘stackers’ just so not comprehend. Silver is not ‘rare’ and they absolutely do make more of it.

Physical copper has always been seen as inaccessible. That’s changing. Entry now starts at 1 kilo ( around $13 ) allocated, not ETF exposure. If you want to understand the model first? We will allocate 1 kilo free on signup. No speculation. Just structure. Access here: c4cu.com Are you observing… or participating?

@FFBirdGang @SleeperHQ can you de-suck the mock draft order for dynasty players, por favor? Just have an intern run a quick AI to get the correct current consensus, then make it (that) depending on if 1qb or SF. The little details is how you win or lose users.

Sleeper’s 2026 #Dynasty Rookie ADP is so terrible you can’t even mock draft on it. If Skyler Bell goes at the 1.08 I’ll delete my account.

@GuruFantasyWrld So many FF players know literally nothing about actual football. Monangai’s late round status means nothing. He, like all late round breakouts, was mispriced as a prospect. He had truthers when he came out of Rutgers. I was one. ‘Lucky guess’ I suppose. Film watchers win again 😂

Kyle Monangai is the single worst priced player in all of fantasy. Basically an UDFA (RD7 pick). With zero receiving upside (18 receptions as a rookie). Ranked 32nd out of 49 RB’s in YAC/attempt (2.95) as a rookie; averaged just .147 MTF/attempt. D’Andre Swift essentially doubled him in PPG (14.3-8.6) & Monangai is somehow priced ahead in Dynasty? Absolute nonsense.

@PPRFantasyTips Malik Washington as WR1 ensures a last place finish, which all but confirms they’re in ‘asset sale’ tank mode. Poor Achane.

- Matthew Golden will become fantasy relevant with Doubs gone - Woody Marks is the RB1 in Houston - Alec Pierce won’t get more target volume like he wants - Jack Bech breakout is incoming - Malik Washington will be the WR1 in Miami

Count me OUT on these takes for the 2026 Fantasy Football SZN (PPR): 🚨💀🚫 - Greg Dulcich breakout in MIA - JCM is the RB1 in WSH - Cam Ward breakout - MHJ breakout - DJM can’t be a strong WR1 - Luther Burden III > Rome Odunze - Ty Simpson isn’t a 1st round NFL draft pick

I had an OC tell me this today about evaluating QBs in the draft “When I’m trying to find THE guy… I ask two questions — was he born to be a QB, or was he made to be one?” Nothing has resonated more…Everyone’s chasing the guy who was born to do it. There’s 2 in this class…

@firstroundmock I admire bold calls like this; when they hit, they hit awfully hard, but when they miss, the prognosticator looks very, very dumb and shreds their credibility. I’m rooting for you to hit.

@jlarkytweets It’s unlikely you’re qualified to have an opinion on what makes for a good leader in the Department of Homeland Security. A key characteristic of Millenials is the belief that they should have opinions on everything, even if they know nothing about the topic.

This administration railed against DEI, wanting people to be qualified for their roles Yet, the now-fired Dept. of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was governor of South Dakota (not a border state) And new nominee Markwayne Mullin was Senator of Oklahoma (not a border state) You cannot convince me that Noem or Mullin was even in the top-50 of most qualified applicants for this role

There’s a wild mix of genres across the Best Picture nominees this year. Weirdly, I think Train Dreams might be the one that would connect favorably with the widest audience.

A dealer buys old copper. Right now is a great time to do this when everyone is focused on silver. I'm sure @oldpapermoney has been doing some of the same. Don't underestimate early historical copper. youtu.be/hD1yj82cPQQ?si…

@Sherman_FFB Puka Nacua was a ‘Day 3 wide receiver’ Stefon Diggs was a ‘Day 3 wide receiver’ ARSB was a ‘Day 3 wide receiver’ Where they were drafted ceases being a relevant measure of talent after there’s a sample size of their playing in the NFL.

@dwainmcfarland @Xfinity Not suggesting this class will be anything more or less than it ultimately is, but predraft ‘class strength’ narratives are always oversold at best, absolute misses at worst but rarely ever ‘accurate’. Morons trading late 2026 1sts for a ‘27 2nd/3rd because of ‘class strength’😂

@mintstate70 @Xfinity Possibly. Really all depends on where these players go in the NFL Draft. Many players will still lean into draft capital more than anything. Obviously, another factor is how engaged your league mates are to this type of stuff.

Overarching thoughts on the 2026 WR Draft Class: Good but not great. Top 3 WRs: Mid-range Round 1 picks most years, but could go higher due to lack of blue-chip prospects at other positions. Good depth: 17 prospects in the 70 to 79 rating range of the @xfinity Rookie Super Model. That is the most in the model's history. Players in that range have lower hit rates, but with so many, we will get several hits. Many will start as role players but could expand their game. bit.ly/4bqG57h

@Markmanson The 00s poker boom did this to many otherwise whip-smart and potentially capable young men. If you were smart enough to beat poker, you were smart enough to beat anything… but if you spent your critical developmental years on poker, you’d be worthless by 40… and that happened.

It's shocking how many educated millennials I know who had insane runs in their 20s and 30s and are now completely lost and broken in their 40s. I think a lot of my generation chose unconventional/sexy lifestyles in their 20s, not realizing that it would deprive them from developing many of the soft skills and commitments required to thrive and function in middle age and beyond. In other words, they optimized for their Instagram feeds rather than their actual lived experience and are now silently paying a deep price.

@Empty_America I don’t think it’s people ‘don’t want to mess’ with fixer uppers. Rather, it’s generationally downstream of a total loss of practical skllls in men. It’s hilarious and sad. An average 31 year old old in the 1960s could change oil and plane wood; his 2020’s counterpart… cannot 😂
