I think the hardest thing about packing for a month away is trying to decide what books I want to bring with me. I mean I have a kindle with plenty of books, but I need to keep up with my physical library too!

@TurkishAirlines strikes again on my return with no rebooking and no news on whether I’m gonna make my connection tonight. Currently stuck in CLJ and all I got is a bus back to arrivals after being delayed for 3 hours and no other info 😞 @TK_HelpDesk

@TK_HelpDesk They also have no vegetarian refreshments available (the only option is a McDonald’s cheeseburger) and have given me no vouchers 😞 5h to go..

@TK_HelpDesk Okay your DM says to work with the airport team but there’s no one here?! I’ve just been told to wait until check in opens for the next flight and maybe then I’ll be told more info

@TK_HelpDesk Now I managed to select and pay $35 but check in was not completed and it won’t issue my boarding pass and the check in process has restarted with automatic seat selection even though I already paid!!!

Best thing about being friends with your colleagues is that after re:Invent you have lots of people to chat to when you’re all communally jet lagged and wake up at 1AM

@SathyaBhat I did get an entry stamp at Newark in July - no stamp today at SFO. Immigration said they stopped it too

An interesting note is that SFO seems to have stopped doing I94 stamps on the passport.
