Don’t let them fool you. I’ve seen this a thousand times straight out of the football‑hooligan playbook. March up aggressively, pick your target, goad them into reacting, then in this lads case cry victim the moment they do. That’s exactly what happened here. Ryan Bridge from Raise the Colours singled this protester out and, with his little entourage, manufactured the whole confrontation. And let’s be honest: even the old football firms didn’t go running to the police every time things didn’t go their way. Bridge does because he’s a wuss. Too thick to realise he’s documenting his own downfall in real time. Tick tock, lad. The law’s coming, whether you understand it or not.

Its hard to undersell just how large the demonstration in Belfast was today. It was one of the largest demonstrations i've ever seen in the city.

Update: Sussex Police have confirmed 2,500 people are in attendance today on Queens Road. Officers are maintaining a safe distance between the two protest groups. Two arrests confirmed. The first was on suspicion of a public order offence before the march even started. The second was for breaching the peace and assaulting a police officer. Far-right group South East Patriots marched through Brighton city centre today calling for mass deportations and stronger border controls. They were met by the Carnival Against Fascism, more than 20 anti-racist groups united on Queens Road. Fighting broke out. One eyewitness reported seeing a far-right protester with blood on his face. Anti-immigration marchers were reported trapped inside a pub. Fatboy Slim, Norman Cook, was spotted in the crowd and played a free set on the streets of his city. Council Leader Councillor Bella Sankey said this week: “Don’t come. Your message of hatred is not welcome here.” 2,500 Brightonians disagreed with the far right today. This is ongoing. After more than 100 years, beach donkey rides in parts of Wales are officially coming to an end. For generations, donkey rides were seen as a classic part of seaside holidays. Families grew up with them, children waited in line for them – it became a tradition many people never questioned. But over time, that started to change. More people began asking what these long days on crowded beaches were actually like for the donkeys themselves. Concerns about heat, exhaustion, physical strain, and stressful working conditions slowly pushed the debate into the spotlight. One of the biggest changes happened at Coney Beach in Porthcawl, where donkey rides that had existed for decades will no longer continue after new restrictions involving animals on the beach were introduced. For some, it feels sad seeing such an old tradition disappear. But others believe traditions should evolve when animal welfare is involved. Because memories and entertainment should never come at the cost of an animal spending its life carrying people in the heat. And maybe this is part of a bigger shift in how society now chooses to treat animals – with more compassion than before. #BanBeachDonkeyRides #WalesForAnimals #EndAnimalCruelty #CompassionateTraditions #ProtectDonkeys
