Zero hate to Pox but the fact that there’s 9k players (he ranked like 8800 or something in his vid) in the highest rank in the game and the devs never saw anything wrong with that is mind blowing

I Solo Queued to Champion this season. I recorded and posted nearly every game while explaining my thought process behind each and every round. I didn't crutch aim and win every 1v5, I simply did my best to create value, establish crossfires, and help my teammates succeed without them even knowing. I proved that ranking up isn't about raw talent, it's about knowledge and attitude. If you think random teammates are holding you back, you're wrong. If you think it's the Ranked 2.0 system, you're wrong. Thinking this way is the exact thing that's holding you back. So take accountability and use every round as an opportunity to improve. Only then will you become a better player and win more. I love this game, and a full season of SoloQ has made me love it in many new ways. I would say if it's an option then for sure queuing against higher elo will help. It may be frustrating at first if you get gapped but when you go back to solo queuing it should feel much easier. Spectate your friends and see how they play. Consume as much content as you can- if you can tolerate pro cs then watch that or if it's too boring find a creator that's entertaining

@LizzieMarbach @PerfInjust but that's the reason as a man that I play video games- it's something I enjoyed with family and friends that never gave me a reason to "grow out of it". It's no different than movies or TV shows, it's just media. Objectively more mentally stimulating at that

I know this is unpopular, but it will always be unattractive for a grown man to play video games.
Some women might be understanding or pretend like they don’t care that you spend hours playing, but they do.

We need to do something about the crowd cheating overall in CS, and the tolerance in turning off the x-ray in the arena need to be harsh enough that the crowd knows to police itself - or else everyone's experience is affected.
