Lovely English Edutwitter - please hit me with your top motifs for A Christmas Carol and any great ‘hidden’ moments they are seen e.g. chains also at old Joe’s in Stave 4. So far got chains, time, light/dark, temperature, music… Any resources also gratefully received!

@WhistleblowingT So sorry the op is having this experience. I'd reiterate all the hang in there msgs and say defo look at a different school. I've just started yr5 teaching having changed careers at 29 it was hard at first but now best work/life balance and love it.

@WhistleblowingT Having worked in different industries education has been the one that has brought me the most job satisfaction and the best work life balance but it took time and finding the right school- it’s not the profession it’s your leaders who define how you feel I think x

@EdmJbg @MrsLouisaHarris 1/2 A huge part of OFSTED inspections is about child safety and well-being. Ofsted cannot be everywhere at once micromanaging schools. The incident that you shared is a rare occurrence being reported in a salacious tabloid.

@OveryGibson I had no idea what I wanted so dropped out of school at 16, worked for a few years, figured out a lot of things I didn’t want to do before going back to college at 20. I’m now a teacher, with a shed load of experience and passion to do something I actually want to. Don’t panic!
