A question for those very familiar with AI, photoshop, or both: what are your thoughts on the just-released McConnell photo? This is a serious query; I've no set feelings of my own. I've heard folks talk about a white "halo" around his finger, but I want to hear from the experts.

The aliasing around contrasty edges is a bit of a tell, but there are plenty of legitimate ways they show up. I think it was deliberately processed to make him look better, but I don't see anything that suggests it's fraudulent. If it is, it's well done. Been a photographer and photoshop user since 2003, and been doing a fair bit with AI in multiple contexts for ~4 years. I also know a bit about image encoding and lower level processing.

The President is focused on using his office to make money for himself, his children, and his allies. This corruption has a cost.
