the true story of 'the sun king' isn't widely known.
it's equal parts amazing and tragic:
amazing: unsw postgrad student helps invent the modern solar cell in sydney. takes it back to china, and becomes china's richest man.
tragic: australia fumbles another trillion dollar industry. stays an unsophisticated economy. returns to shipping rocks and selling houses.
so i made a video about it. it's the very timely story of what happens when our country can no longer build.
(plus my optimistic version of the future where we can).

@bitpixi @hackeroos_au Thanks for sharing it in hackeroos! That's actually reasonable, ok I'll increase to $142.55 for any applicants from hackeroos or that specifically request Claude. For some reason, I thought it was USD$200 for the max plan.

@mitchellzheng @hackeroos_au I think they also have an Ambassadors program actually. I know a couple already in Melbourne.. so I applied for Bendigo area then. Maybe the company Anthropic could foot the bill for the remaining $42.55 if you share what they are doing and ask them in the application? Who knows!
