I think the "side-quest" description is apt, they want us to form teams & networks, because all of the mini-games lead to the Otherside, where I think we'll need cooperation to build

with each subsequent BAYC "mini-game" or "activation," I feel further & further removed from their ecosystem. granted I'm not a holder (besides the honorary) so I don't really have an incentive to care, but the space used to revolve around them. not so much anymore. makes it extremely hard to grasp how they can possibly sustain a floor price of ~$60k, let alone ever grow into their peak equity valuation of ~$4b. lot of friction in attracting new users to become serfs on the "lands" of early collectors. would be a difficult task even for the most polished & entertaining game to ever exist.

@topshotfund There isn’t as much attention of the space in general, so it didn’t really do anything to progress the story or ecosystem, more of a side quest if you will. Intentionally done due to lack of attention I think but I suppose that’s just my perspective tho

@tblckn it's definitely not "essential". but you can make an argument for reconsideration being the best path forward. the twitter brand carries a lot of baggage. but all that matters is the utility it provides, not the name.

yes the twitter brand very recognisable, and it’s cool that ‘tweet’ is a platform-specific verb & become so well known but, a rebrand is essential to building an everything app
