Eighteen-year-old Amirhossein Hatami was executed this morning by the mullahs' regime. He had been arrested during the January 2026 protests. His death is part of a disturbing surge in political executions: five people put to death since Monday. On Monday, Akbar Daneshvarkar—also known as Shahrokh—was executed at the age of 60, leaving behind a teenage son. Mohammad Taghavi, 59, had previously endured imprisonment in the 1980s and 1990s. On Tuesday, Pouya Ghobadi, a 33-year-old electrical engineer, and Babak Alipour, a 34-year-old law graduate, were executed. Today, Thursday, Amirhossein Hatami, just 18 years old, was killed.
