I think people need to decide if they're genuinely interested in finding out what went wrong in 2024 so Dems can win again, or if they're just going to reject any data or information that doesn't confirm all their political beliefs. I wish there wasn't so much nuance and uncertainty in politics - but that's the world we live in.

@dvasishtha Talking about change is sometimes valued more than actually implementing change, esp in healthcare 🤷🏽

@Jason @semil Moderation could have been better but the root cause was Mark’s rambling, imprecise answers. Chamath tried to rein it in but to no avail

Thanks for the candid feedback @semil 🙏🏼 You are correct, this episode dropped out of conversation mode and went full rabid debate. Having two highly partisan and well-spoken friends try and “beat”each other is the exact opposite of the architecture I created as the executive producer and moderator of All In Some folks loved it, but most feedback was similar to yours. I failed to control this ep, which is on me. Will do better next time! 🙏🏼
Semil@semil

@Jason I’ve listened to every single episode y’all have done. Big fan. This one, it felt more like an interrogation than the conversation y’all usually drive. I’d say I actually listen to over 70% of episodes twice. Not this one. Overall, I am a huge fan.

Europeans are tough. None of my friends in Italy or France have AC in their homes. In Geneva you must have a "valid reason" to purchase AC, such as a health condition. Americans would last 10 minutes there 🇺🇸

@Surgeon_General Ppl w/serious mental illness face extreme social & economic isolation, causing excess unemployment, homelessness, and mortality. It should bring shame to a nation as wealthy as ours. Luckily @fountainhouse is there to help individuals and @thecarehack to help families.

So much of having a great life, is acknowledging the things that bring you joy, running full speed ahead - and genuinely not caring what other people think about it.

True Openness. You listen, you’ll take some hits, and recalibrate when needed. You aren’t afraid to redirect, soak up a new perspective or do something different. You’re mentally strong enough to unlearn & challenge yourself. 4/

The way you think guides the actions you take. Here are 4 “dispositional presets” - foundational items that I've found lay the groundwork of thinking - in people who move forward to do great things and beat the odds. See what you’ve got: 1/

Random curiosity… has anyone out there spent 5+ years on intensive personal growth (eg coaching, books, retreats) and NOT turned towards spirituality? I haven’t met someone like this. Curious to hear more about your experience!

Hospital-at-home is often seen as a major opportunity to improve patient care. While significant potential exists, there is another view. It promotes caregiver burnout, costs too much, and can be of variable quality. My take on @JACCJournals new Au Contraire section.

Reminder: If you have a family member diagnosed with #mentalillness, it can be scary. But it doesn’t have to be. Remember: A #diagnosis isn't a roadblock. It’s a map. Finding a good provider & building a support team will help you acquire the tools you need to navigate.
