This performative crackdown on largely law-abiding cyclists puts hard-working New Yorkers in harm's way while doing nothing to make our streets safer. Instead of unsustainable and overly punitive measures like this, we need real solutions like the Idaho Stop, strict regulations on delivery app companies that incentivize reckless riding, and restorative justice-oriented interventions like the Driver Accountability Program for e-bike and moped riders.

@justsomeoneDK Yep, I noted high-level observations: Its knowledge is broad but not deep — can present existing information in a new voice but can't go into expert-level detail. It isn't personalized — can't use it to write a letter to a friend. It doesn't have agency / can't plan (phew!)

@mizzao Very interesting! I wondered if AI bots can assess the quality of (poor) answers to phil of science exams. Yet, it can't provide useful feedback even when based on questions the bot can answer reasonably. Phil of Sci maybe too esoteric, compared to frameworks for idea assessment?

Is it just me or is one of #ChatGPT's superpowers the ability to test and validate #startup ideas in minutes? Here I ask it a bunch of questions about the product and market of @ParsnipApp which are mostly accurate, but took us months of research to learn: a🧵

I can't but help feel like I'm talking to an oracle. If you're building a business, any business, here's a good way to check for blind spots and see around corners in 10 minutes flat.

As in cooking, it's more important to understand what NOT to do than what to do, and #ChatGPT has an answer there too. All of these risks to the business are things we think about constantly.
