@michaeldweiss @AAiacciu Landing? If the plane were on the ground when it was blown up then fuel would have more than likely spread in all direction. This fuel is clearly in the direction of an air crash. I'm thinking at least 10 Yankee soldiers died a miserable death for nothing in this operation.

Details about the rescue op for the U.S. Weapon Systems Officer, via a U.S. military official:
"The mountain top area on the left is where the WSO was hiding (he ejected 5ish miles northwest of there). The right area is the makeshift landing strip where they landed 2 C-130s and had 4 MH-6 Little Birds.
"One Little Bird flew to that mountain top area and rescued the WSO and brought him back to the landing strip. And of course the two C-130s' nose gears got stuck in the dirt. So after a few hours they had to bring in three AFSOC Dash-8s to fly out the rescued WSO and the 100 or so personnel involved in the op." 1/2

This whole mess is absolutely insane. The whole idea behind not needing “judicial warrants” to remove illegal aliens was solidified in IIRAIRA 1996, under the Clinton admin. The reasoning was to reduce the burden on the government from having to take every illegal in front of a magistrate, not to give illegals the benefit of the doubt.
It’s so plainly obvious that the democrats are doing whatever they can to thwart the government’s responsibility to maintain an immigration system that works. And only logical explanation is power. They need the illegals to have anchor babies that will overwhelmingly vote democrat for generations to come.

DHS funding deal is falling apart. Senate GOP offered to fund all of DHS, except ICE’s deportation wing (ERO). Dems just countered and demanded additional concessions, they want major ICE reforms (unmasking, judicial warrants, etc). GOP says why would we agree to reforms for an agency being defunded? Dems had an offer on the table to carve out ICE’s removal operations, and fund everything else within DHS, and they are saying no. They are demanding ICE reforms for an agency they aren’t going to fund. GOP saying no. And the shutdown continues - now on day 40.

JUST IN: Brentwood Police say 'Reacher' star Alan Ritchson acted in self-defense, say no charges will be filed. The development comes as new footage appears to show Ritchson's neighbor blocking the road while he was on his motorcycle. "After reviewing available evidence, including video footage and witness statements, authorities determined that no criminal charges will be pursued," said the Brentwood Police Department. "Mr. Ritchson’s actions were found to be in self-defense." "Although a potential reckless endangerment charge was considered, Mr. Ritchson declined to pursue charges." The case has been closed.
