I’m simply horrified to see @NHSEngland now literally breaking the law in how it misrepresents physician associates & other allied health professional - who are NOT doctors - to the public. These posters are from the Bradford District & Craven Health & Care Partnership. 1/n

@doctor_oxford @NHSEngland This is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of deceit & absolutely shocking practice by those higher up within the NHS who have no regard for patient welfare & their families. It goes a lot deeper & a lot darker, with patients & their families left in traumatising situations.

When it comes to the denigration of the medical profession, primarily to the detriment of patient care & safety, I have low expectations of Govt & its quangos @gmcuk & @NHSEngland. However I am disappointed at the senior clinicians who sell out the profession after they climbed the ladder. Slow hand clap for: @NavinaEvans @NHSEnglandNMD @drcolinm to name but a few.

We cannot stop calling for a ceasefire. We cannot stop demonstrating for a just and lasting peace. We cannot give up on the Palestinian people.

I have written to the Prime Minister to express my growing distress over his continued refusal to call for a ceasefire.

Absolutely outrageous from Foreign Sec. Do you even understand what a ceasefire is? It's binding on every side - & we need one now to help free hostages, protect civilian lives, ensure delivery of humanitarian aid & avoid regional escalation. UN sees need for this, why don't you?

Israeli air strikes have hit Al Ahli hospital in Gaza. More than 500 people - patients, doctors & those sheltering - have been killed. What unspeakable horror. We will mourn their loss forever. Our leaders could have spoken up for peace. They chose to cheer on war instead. When will they demand an end to these atrocious war crimes? How many Palestinian lives will it take to call for these indiscriminate killings to stop? Please, for the sake of humanity, raise your voice for an immediate ceasefire. The existence of the Palestinian people is at stake.

This should frighten all of us. A doctor committed to treating those wounded by the slaughter in Gaza and British police turn up at his London home to question his family as to why and how he is in Gaza. State intimidation.
