@SSBAfro @the_Maafia 95 or whatever you play with is still greater than than OG, Hori, Chori, etc. Not sure where you pulled the numbers from in your previous response - but because you are not forced to play on a keyboard, it stands to reason that we leave the differences between the two as they are

@murphossjaydoss @the_Maafia The keyboard adapter also gives you a regulated range, and you can even manually configure how much range you want in each direction through the adapter’s firmware. But it’s always a fixed value, not dynamically adjustable. In my case, I have it set to 95 in each direction 😁

We got melee players complaining about a button remap, meanwhile SSB64 lets you use any controller in the world. You could use a fishing rod, a keyboard, hell even staple some buttons on a shoe and you’d be allowed to play lmfaoooo 2 completely different vibes I guess

@murphossjaydoss @the_Maafia Are you referring to the stick range? What would count as 100%? Because I see a lot of players who use Chinese Horis, Chinese controllers, Elmanstick, or Steelstick, and they have solid ranges from around 90 to 115 🧐

@SSBAfro @the_Maafia If this gets legalised then it’s only fair that controller players get to modify their stick range to 100%

@the_Maafia Ah, but the 64 community still doesn’t allow buttons that generate angle variations for Fox or Pikachu’s up-B when using a keyboard, range modifiers to be able to walk, or configurable buttons to do up-airs without buffering the input beforehand. The Melee community is ahead 😔
