Our water system has experienced rapid changes due to extreme weather. Water use surpassed typical usage by 250% over the past 24 hrs due to dripping faucets/pipe leaks/line breaks from freezing temps causing pressure & storage to significantly drop. Conserve water when you can.

Learning about the physiological determinants of growth versus fixed mindsets from @davidrock101 at #SHRM19 Receiving feedback activates the threat response system in the brain, and giving it is just as stressful. Cultures that emphasize asking for feedback ameliorate negativity.

@jgcarrier Vast majority of orgs I work with provide much more PTO than any mandated paid time off by these ordinances — just another pick list of rules to show compliance with. IMO, best bet for employers and employees in shifting this paradigm is the Workflex in the 21st Century Act bill
