The TEA. My theory is that Greg Ritter is really Stephen Courton. A storm chaser from Dallas Texas who tried to pay younger chasers and minors money to stay with him in hotel rooms and drive with him. He is 65+ years old. The only reason I recognized this is 5 years of recognizing people’s tweet styles (chronically online) no teens tweet like someone from the 1990s who pity parties and question marks everything. Also comments underneath similar chasers he’s interacted with before with similar questions. I confirmed with chasers who he tried to chase with him / pay money. Also does not exist as a name in Blair Nebraska / have any other social media

I’ve lived there 18 years of my life and know how those coastal lows function. It also was splitting a gap between storm records at that point, so that adds to the indifference factor

8:00pm: Heavy snow band continues rotating SE to NW across Long Island this evening. We just measured a 2 inch per hour rate at our office from 7pm-8pm. This band will pivot further inland through the next few hours. More heavy bands will move in through the overnight/Monday AM.

@MeteoMark Please remember that it has to be below freezing for snow to stick! The onset of freezing temperatures is well beyond the onset of snow in that region. Widespread 18”-24”, sure, but likely no more given the prevention of cold air damming earlier (trough orientation says “nah”).

Numbers actually went UP from 35" to 44" in New Jersey on the overnight NAM. This is happening at a ratio of 8:1 because of a combination of marginal temperatures and high winds. High winds cause dendritic destruction which reduces snow ratios. That means this 3 FEET PLUS area is going to have the consistency of concrete. Be very careful trying to shovel this. Hard to believe this day has come. At one point it felt so far away and now it's today, our SIXTH album.  Anyone who has been to a show in the past year will have heard us say it but we are massively humbled and grateful by the support and the opportunity you give us to do this, to make the music we make without compromise, to pursue something great and true every day of our lives and we really believe we have something to share in Prizefighter that is all of that.  Enjoy it and thanks again, we’re proud of it.
