Our country will suffer the consequences if Congress takes farmers & our food supply for granted. I call on members of Congress who represent ag to stand with farmers by insisting the supplemental spending bill include economic aid for farmers and voting it down if it doesn’t.

@AmericanAir I find it surprising how difficult it is to get in touch with a department called “customer relations.” Perhaps you could have someone contact me? Would much prefer that to typing out into tweets the entire problematic customer relations experience I just endured.

@FedExHelp Cut off after a 28 min call and after escalating 3 managers up, no resolution or answers to international package now 7 days late that is stuck 1 hour from its final destination. Have been on the phone with FedEx every day. Help please? @fedex

To summarize, my point was: 1. We are incredibly blessed to have smart, dedicated researchers. 2. It is also important to make sure research has enough funding.

@mjisbell @AgWriterVLBoyd @LSUAgCenter What an elitist push for the increase check-off. The products you sell are nothing like that what the general rice farmer produces.
Rice is a commodity crop, not a specialty crop. You better stay in your lane.
Vote no on the checkoff increase!
