Important read from inside Iran. As I've said, targeting the remaining notorious regime decision makers is far more impactful than going after Iranian energy. Cripple their ability to even have a Hormuz strategy. There are many ways to win before even considering power plants.

Do not scroll past this. I am forcing this VPN connection through the blackout because the White House and the free world need to hear the absolute reality from the streets of Iran, not from out-of-touch analysts. To President Trump and the US war rooms drawing up strike targets: let me make this devastatingly clear. There is no price too high to pay for the complete eradication of this terrorist occupation. We want their military apparatus crushed. But as you calculate your next move, get this straight we need some of their dingy shit left standing so we can actually rebuild this country when the smoke clears. #SpareIranPowerPlants Hitting our civilian grid does not punish the regime. The Islamic Republic does not give a rat's ass about our infrastructure. They don't care about Iranians, and they despise this country with every fiber of their miserable existence. Obliterating our power plants doesn't hurt the clerics hiding in their deep underground bunkers; it only cripples the very citizens who are locked, loaded, and ready to rise up. And make no mistake, we are absolutely ready to take our country back. You want to solve your global shipping headaches? You want to ensure the Strait of Hormuz is ripped open and never held hostage by a terror syndicate ever again? There is exactly one easy way to guarantee that: help the Iranian people finish this rescue mission, take our country back, and make Iran great again. When this regime collapses, do not let your foreign offices try to pick our future for us. Crown Prince @PahlaviReza is our leader. We signed his name across the walls of this country with our own blood. Listen to him, because he is the absolute only person Iran will listen to. From the markets to the university campuses, his is the only name the streets have called for. We know exactly how to end this. Support our fight, spare our grid, and watch us finish them. Long live Iran.

🇮🇷 The "told you so" crowd has it backwards... Every hawk on the internet is pointing at Iran's missile range and multi-country retaliation as vindication. "See? We had to hit them. Look how dangerous they are." That reasoning collapses under its own weight. Iran didn't launch anything until it was attacked. Responding to being bombed is not the same as posing an imminent threat. If self-defense proves you deserved to be attacked, then every country with a military is fair game for preemptive war. Capability without intent is not a threat. Brazil has a military. So does Indonesia. Nobody is suggesting they need to be neutralized. The moment you start treating the mere existence of weapons as justification for striking first, you've created a world where every nation on earth is either attacking or waiting to be attacked...

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 BREAKING: Trump gives Iran a 48-hour ultimatum to fully open the Strait of Hormuz or the U.S. will obliterate their power plants, "starting with the biggest one first." Three weeks of "winding down" talk just ended with the most aggressive threat of the entire war. Destroying Iran's power grid would plunge 90 million people into darkness and trigger a humanitarian catastrophe. The next two days will define everything. Source: Truth Social

🚨U.S. to allow Iran to get ~14 billion dollars (!!!) in oil revenue 🚨This is a huge financial concession to Iran by the U.S. 🚨It is the first time U.S. is buying Iranian oil since 1996 🚨It's all happening in the middle of a war against...Iran
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent@SecScottBessent

Iran is the head of the snake for global terrorism, and through President Trump’s Operation Epic Fury, we are winning this critical fight at an even faster pace than anticipated. In response to Iran’s terrorist attacks against global energy infrastructure, the Trump Administration will continue to deploy America’s economic and military might to maximize the flow of energy to the world, strengthen global supply, and seek to ensure market stability. Today, the Department of the Treasury is issuing a narrowly tailored, short-term authorization permitting the sale of Iranian oil currently stranded at sea. At present, sanctioned Iranian oil is being hoarded by China on the cheap. By temporarily unlocking this existing supply for the world, the United States will quickly bring approximately 140 million barrels of oil to global markets, expanding the amount of worldwide energy and helping to relieve the temporary pressures on supply caused by Iran. In essence, we will be using the Iranian barrels against Tehran to keep the price down as we continue Operation Epic Fury. This temporary, short-term authorization is strictly limited to oil that is already in transit and does not allow new purchases or production. Further, Iran will have difficulty accessing any revenue generated and the United States will continue to maintain maximum pressure on Iran and its ability to access the international financial system. So far, the Trump Administration has been working to bring around 440 million additional barrels of oil to the global market, undercutting Iran’s ability to leverage its disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz. President Trump’s pro-energy agenda has driven U.S. oil and gas production to record levels, strengthening energy security and lowering fuel costs. Any short-term disruption now will ultimately translate into longer-term economic gains for Americans – because there is no prosperity without security.

Watch Megyn Kelly manipulate you. Joe Kent might’ve leaked classified info … BUT suddenly we’re supposed to zoom in on the fact that he has kids at home. And just like that, the story shifts. Not about the leak. Not about the law. About feelings. Feeling bad for Joe. Now the investigators are the villains, and the guy who may have broken the law by leaking classified intel … he is the one we’re supposed to sympathize with. Clean little switch, Megyn 😏. Wasn’t she a lawyer? Because this sounds less like legal reasoning … and more like a sympathy pitch for Joe because you don’t like Trump and Israel hitting Iran.

@bonchieredstate The math is simple. This is the fork in the road. Cut bait and deal with minimal political toll, or double down and go for broke in what is a giant bear trap of escalation.

Today, Trump signaled an end in sight. Now, reports are that he may escalate with ground troops. Not trying to say I've got the president figured out completely, but come on. This is obviously a "will he, won't he" pressure play. Just like the lead-up to the conflict.
