Today is my Appa and Amma’s 45th wedding anniversary. ❤️ Despite coming from a poor family, my father worked tirelessly to ensure we received a good education and strong moral n cultural values. Even today, I still feel a sense of fear and respect standing in front of him and talking! I can never forget the “belt treatments” we got for our mischievous acts during our Kargal days. Amma’s love, affection, and constant encouragement to study and excel academically shaped our lives in countless ways. Because of their sacrifices, we were able to study in reputed institutions and build meaningful careers. As a small way of giving back, I chose to return to my hometown, and for the last 12 years, I have stayed close to them. During my father’s health issues and my mother’s chemotherapy journey, my wife and I were there through every high and low. Only recently, after leaving my elder son Akki boy in another city for his +2 studies, I truly realized how painful it is for parents to stay away from their children. That feeling made me appreciate my own parents’ emotions and sacrifices even more deeply. This is just a small tribute to the immense sacrifices they made during our childhood , sacrifices that children often realize only much later in life. To all juniors who have the opportunity to move back to their hometowns and stay close to their parents , please consider it. Nothing gives parents greater pride and peace than having their children beside them in their later years. It is perhaps the least we can do for everything they gave us. Love you, Appa Amma. 🥰

Awareness and strict implementation can bring in the results. For decades Automobile assns didn't do anything in this direction.

Ignorance. Recently, I was following a cousin on the ORR. We were going to a common destination, he was driving on the right lane at hundred kilometre per hour. After reaching the destination.
