However, the entire team of doctors at JJ Hospital, including the Assistant Dean, the Superintendent, and specialists from the Department of Gynecology, has been closely involved in the case. The doctors worked on it until late last night, they are continuing their efforts today, and they will keep monitoring and caring for the child in the coming days..."
Mumbai, Maharashtra: On the rape of a minor in the Pydhonie area, Congress MLA Amin Patel says, "I am also meeting the Police Commissioner. I have written to the government as well, requesting that this case be heard in a fast-track court. A competent public prosecutor and an experienced solicitor should be appointed to handle the case.

Came across this video that brings to light— Who was Neville Dsouza ?
The first Asian footballer to score a hat-trick at the Olympic Games during the 1956 Melbourne Olympics.
Over the last two months Bandra’s Neville D’Souza Football Ground has become the centre of a growing controversy after the BMC initiated the process to change the land reservation of the site from a “sports ground and playground” to an “exhibition and convention centre.”
Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson, Smt. Sonia Gandhi's evocative piece calling out Modi Govt's silence and inaction for our Palestinian brothers and sisters whose children have been brutally targeted is a stark reminder of how our current foreign policy has alienated our historical allies in Palestine, Iran, and the larger Middle East. We have also distanced ourselves from global public opinion.
"The spirit of Indian nationhood demands that we speak up for our Palestinian brothers and sisters whose children have been so brutally targeted. The calculus of national interest demands that we respond to the global public opinion against the Israeli regime’s genocidal actions in Gaza and its brutal displacement and dispossession of lakhs of Palestinian families in the occupied West Bank. The Modi government’s continued silence simply cannot be explained rationally or morally".

Mumbai, Maharashtra: Congress MLA Amin Patel says, "A proposal has been placed before the House noting that the SIR work began on the 29th, yet it lacks the expected pace. From the 29th until today, the 9th, only about one percent of the SIR work has been completed in Mumbai... I have requested the Election Commission to extend the deadline, as teachers (acting as BLOs) are unable to conduct door-to-door visits due to the rains and school commitments. Additionally, other government employees should be appointed as BLOs to carry out this task. People are facing great inconvenience because the SIR process is not progressing..."
