@PhillipCWDE @rcb05 That’s $5.76 per Texas resident for the athletic expenditures. That’s also ignoring the other $158 million for non-athletic capital expenditures that were approved AND the $4.25 billion that was raised last year by the University for academic programs/capital expenditures.

@rcb05 Oh, I know, but I can't help but recall the philanthropic efforts of yesteryear into libraries, the arts, science, and general broad scale humanity boosting efforts. Also, ignoring economic implications for a moment, that could be millions of dollars per Texas resident.

I understand the reason people pump money into college athletics, and lord knows that I love sports. That said, I can't help but feel like we missed something when we spend over $170 million on college athletic projects in a state with 29.5 million people & a poverty rate of 14%

@john_marhefka Just flagged this to our distributor. All shipments are supposed to be done first in first out (whoever ordered first is shipped first) but we're seeing a few reports of out of order stuff, so trying to look into that.
