I've written this extensively here - Israel has enormous strength; Israel is even weaker than it is strong. This is not an abstract observation. Israel is weak because it is driven by remarkable hubris. Israel is weak because we have thoroughly dehumanized ourselves. We care about our own lives even less than we care about the lives we destroy around us. Israel is not "winning". Neither is the US. They continue to drift apart and also to play a game of "chicken" with the rest of the world. The fact that they do this with the indulgence of many is criminal, but even this is changing in real time. The greatest injustice, claiming the authority to take the lives of those "worth less", will not hold.
