GM @THORChain and @THORCommunity ! first, peace and ❤️ second, here’s a quick clarification on our role in TC’s swap aggregator and why we’re involved: swap.thorchain.org we built it we’re proud of it. it came together fast, works smoothly and turned out better than expected. rest assured it’s the best you’ll find: UI, UX, and the server side powering it. all shipped in record time! We’re builders. in a few days we’ll share a longer post on how we got involved - mostly to shut down the haters implying we’re “pocketing cash.” We don’t intend to stay involved long term. In few months everything needed will be provided and we no longer needed full time. yes, we’re paid but it’s considerably less than the resources and dev hours we put into it. and for the record: we originally wanted to do the whole thing for free (that first version that came out about a month ago). TC wanted to pay. only when TC wanted to expand it into full DEX aggregation did the cost factor became really relevant. now, some f*cks are saying we’re pocketing money. that’s simply not true, and we’re not going to pretend to be nice about it. we’re involved with TC because we actually want DEXes to grow. TC wanted an interface it can control and we delivered that. quality-wise it’s likely better than any other swap interface out there. in 2–3 months we built an aggregation engine that usually takes mid-sized teams 6-12 months. yes, we forked swapkit for the client side and built the heavy backend ourselves. more to come. this is just a quick shoutout for everyone in the loop.
