I didn't realize how *much* of my internal landscape is constructed out of social beliefs until recently. Lots of this awareness came from things like, someone would ask me what I think of X, and I'd say "I don't know, I don't know enough about X yet. I'll check experts." 3/

Maybe the biggest shift in my worldview over the past few years has been a greater awareness of social beliefs. It's one of those things that I had an intellectual understanding of for a long time, but recently started feeling more visceral. 1/

@UsabilityHub The funniest thing I've seen was a user test on a website prototype (using Figma) and they saw the wrong navigation and thought they had to login to Figma, so then spent most of the test figuring out to create an account on there, instead of the actual website test! 🤣
