Tanah Boyd has left the field with a non-contact knee injury. Prayers up, but I will be surprised if it's not something serious. If this happened last week, there is no way they would release Luke Metcalf.

I wonder if the Warriors would consider releasing Luke Metcalf to the Dragons before the June 30 deadline, especially given he’s currently struggling to crack the side. If that happened, New Zealand would likely free up cap space for the rest of 2026 and could potentially use it to front-load other contracts. That means they could bring forward payments for players already contracted in 2027, reducing those players’ cap hits next season and effectively creating more salary cap space for 2027.
