Iran signed a ceasefire last night and broke it before most Americans finished breakfast.
But that’s not the story.
The story is what Trump did while everyone was staring at the missiles.
The sequence: Iran signs ceasefire. Iran releases fake version claiming total victory. CNN runs fake version as real news. Trump calls it fraud. Iran launches missiles at Israel, Kuwait, UAE, and Bahrain.
Ceasefire lasts fewer hours than a domestic flight.
Everyone is asking the wrong question. The question isn’t “why did Iran break the ceasefire.” The answer to that is obvious. Iran has a political wing that wants to negotiate and a military wing that wants to die fighting. The IRGC operates 32 independent regional commands.
The politicians signed the paper. The generals launched the missiles.
Iran is a country negotiating with itself at gunpoint.
Trump already knows this.
This morning he posted that Iran has gone through “a very productive regime change.” He’s not angry about the broken ceasefire. He’s looking past the IRGC and talking directly to the political faction that’s still alive and desperate.
Then, minutes later, he posted a 50 percent tariff on any country supplying weapons to Iran. He didn’t name China. He didn’t have to.
Five Iranian ships left a Chinese port carrying sodium perchlorate, the chemical you need to make the solid rocket fuel inside every missile that just hit Kuwait. China trades $500 billion a year with the US. Russia trades under $500 million. The tariff isn’t about Russia.
So: one hand offers Iran reconstruction money and sanctions relief. The other hand prices China out of the Iranian weapons pipeline. Two posts, two targets, one table.
Meanwhile there’s a conservative commentator somewhere reading the CNN version of Iranian propaganda and telling you Trump surrendered.
My brother in Christ, he just set the opening bid for a meeting with Xi Jinping.
Are you paying attention?

@atensnut Great Value Hillary. But that’s what you look like when you sell your soul for power. She’s awful and she’s been flying under radar with her “I’m a mom” routine…she’s a literal CIA plant and hoping she gets to redistrict to keep people from tossing her on her ass.

They were forewarned about this moron. I cannot believe they elected her.

@RoKhanna @TuckerCarlson @mtgreenee He didn’t back down. No matter how this went y’all were frothing to try and frame this as impeachable.
English

Trump backed down.
No credit to Congress, which barely made a whimper.
Credit to the American people—progressive activists & anti-war conservative voices like @TuckerCarlson, @mtgreenee, and many more.
We need an anti-Epstein class, anti-war, pro-working class coalition.

@JessicaTarlov Yeah you can do that when you have millions of money funded into networks from people with a globalist agenda that are paid to rev people up and idiot media people like yourself who push the bullshit narrative you do. As a former Democrat I’m ashamed of what this party is now.
English

Republicans can mock the No Kings protests all the want, but the reality is it just grew from 6 million to 8 million people in a few months. 3,300 rallies in all 50 states, many in suburbs and small towns.
Meanwhile, Republicans in Congress see the writing on the wall. A record 36 are retiring early. Donald Trump is sitting around 40% approval at best, closer to the low 30s by some measures.
When a president is under 50%, their party historically loses an average of 34 seats in Congress. Democrats only need a handful of seats. The energy is real and it is growing.

Iran was trying to use the North Korean model to get a nuke: create sufficient conventional deterrence so you won’t be challenged in acquiring one (it’s called the Seoul Hostage Problem).
This has been explained over and over since day one.
Everyone claiming shifting goalposts or no imminent threat has been lying.
The reason North Korea was allowed to get nukes is because Seoul (and its 10 million inhabitants) is within artillery and rocket range of North Korea.
During the 1994 nuclear crisis, the Clinton administration seriously considered airstrikes on North Korea’s Yongbyon reactor but backed off precisely because of the artillery threat to Seoul.
Iran was trying to accomplish the same by stockpiling missiles and drones which would have had the same deterrent effect. The proof is what Iran has been doing in the past month: attacking all its neighbors in order to pressure the US to stop attacking it
Beyond this, they were building medium-range ballistic missiles that could reach Paris and London, meaning all of Europe could be held hostage as they built a nuclear bomb.
The reason Iran has not built a nuclear weapon until now is not because it couldn’t, but because it knew it would be attacked and denied this capability.
So by allowing them to continue developing this conventional deterrence, you would be allowing Iran to get a nuclear weapon.
And unlike North Korea, Iran is led by an eschatological death cult
Reagan saw nuclear mutually assured destruction (MAD) as both morally bankrupt (because of the innocent-body-count problem) and dangerously fragile because it assumed flawless rationality between adversaries…this means it only takes one irrational actor to destroy the world.
Working backwards from the conclusion that Iran’s Islamist regime must never have a nuclear weapon, it was necessary for the US to attack Iran to deny it the conventional capacity to hold the entire eastern hemisphere hostage.
Every European leader knows this and behind the scenes praises the US for this action. But they are cowards, held hostage by their own internal Muslim populations, and so adopt these ridiculous public positions.
This was never about Israel. And if your argument is that Iran should be allowed to get a nuclear weapon then you are a fool and a traitor to western civilization…you’re a useful idiot

A study just published in 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 — one of the most prestigious peer-reviewed science journals on earth — is causing significant discomfort for Net Zero advocates. The findings come from ancient "blue" ice cores drilled in the Allan Hills region of Antarctica, which provide a climate record stretching back approximately three million years.
The research found that CO2 and methane levels have been broadly stable over the past three million years — while global temperatures experienced significant shifts during that same period, including major ice ages and warming cycles. In other words, the data shows temperature swings happening independently of CO2 levels — which is not what the standard climate narrative predicts.
Study lead author Julia Marks-Peterson acknowledged the findings were unexpected: "We definitely were a bit surprised." She added cautiously that the findings "may suggest that even small changes in greenhouse gas levels could trigger major shifts in climate." That last sentence is worth reading carefully. The study found CO2 was stable while temperatures changed significantly — and the researcher's response was to suggest that maybe tiny CO2 changes still caused big temperature swings. The data pointed one direction; the interpretation strained to point another.
𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦's own commentary noted that the ice cores hint that "changes in the ocean might have played a larger part than greenhouse gases in key climate shifts of the past three million years."
To be clear about what this study does and does not say. It does not prove that CO2 has no effect on climate. It does show that over a three-million-year record, CO2 levels remained broadly stable while temperatures varied dramatically — suggesting other factors, including ocean circulation changes, drove major climate shifts. That is a significant finding that complicates the simplified narrative that CO2 is the primary control knob of global temperature.
The Net Zero agenda has cost Western economies trillions of dollars, driven up energy prices for working families, and pushed industrial production to countries with far lower environmental standards. When peer-reviewed research published in 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 itself raises serious questions about the foundational assumptions underlying that agenda — the response should be inquiry, not dismissal.

@MaryBowdenMD @CharlesGrooms I don’t want a Muslim doctor. Ever. Untrustworthy, their very religion compels them to do us harm.

English

@AdamKinzinger There are an awful lot of people who claim to be Christian but are complicit with killing babies. So throwing religion around it is kind of useless at this point. Y’all have tried tearing it down, don’t try to hold Christians on a pedestal now.
