A Syrian man posted a video of himself complaining about the healthcare system in Syria following a year of liberation from the Assad Regime. The man cussed out the regime and Joulani as he complained. The man was later arrested because apparently cussing out somebody makes you a felon of some sort. People thought we would get freedom, dignity and democracy; we got terrorists in suits. 14 years for nothing; absolutely nothing.

🔴 Once again, the terrorist regime protects the kidnapper of an Alawite woman and turns the victim into the accused, as part of its crude attempts to conceal the kidnapping and rape of Alawite women 🔹 The Syrian Feminist Lobby issued an urgent call to secure the release of Ms. Yara Salman: “The Syrian Feminist Lobby SFL expresses its deep concern regarding the arbitrary detention of Ms. Yara Salman by the Criminal Security Branch in Harem. Ms. Yara Salman, a mother of a five-year-old child, was abducted under threats to the safety of members of her family in broad daylight from the al-Farous neighborhood in Latakia on Oct 30, 2025. On Nov 22, 2025, Ms. Yara managed to send out a distress call. Security forces in Qourqania in Idlib dispatched a patrol that arrested the kidnapper and escorted him together with Ms. Yara to the Criminal Security Branch in Harem. There, the security authority in Harem detained the kidnapper while simultaneously holding the victim and depriving her of her right to defense and to legal counsel, as the authorities refused to allow the appointment of a lawyer on the pretext that she was still under investigation until the case file is referred to the prosecution. Women’s rights defenders from the Monitoring and Documentation Unit of the Syrian Feminist Lobby reported that they contacted local and central official authorities regarding Ms. Yara Salman’s case without success, amid continued lack of legal transparency concerning her status, and insistence on a narrative claiming that the victim ‘went of her own free will’, the same narrative used by the National Commission for Investigating Kidnapping Cases to label ‘other victims.’ This narrative has extremely dangerous social and legal consequences, as it turns the victim into an accused and absolves the kidnapper of the crime, constituting an ongoing threat to the victim, her family, and other survivors like her. This incident constitutes a grave violation of human rights and of the state’s obligations under international law, foremost among them the prohibition of arbitrary and secret detention, the guarantee of the right to liberty and security, and the enjoyment of fair-trial guarantees. It also represents a clear breach of Syrian law, including provisions requiring that a detainee be referred to the public prosecutor within 48 hours, while Ms. Yara has remained under arbitrary detention since Nov 22, 2025, without a lawful referral up to the date of this statement. The SFL calls on the competent Syrian authorities to: immediately and unconditionally release Ms. Yara Salman; ensure her safe and dignified return to her family; enable her effective access to legal remedies and justice, including an independent and effective investigation into the circumstances of her abduction and detention; and guarantee that such violations are not repeated.” 🔹“Hashtag Syria” added details about the abduction of Ms. Yara Salman, stating: Sources close to Yara’s family told “Hashtag” that the family received news on Nov 22 confirming Yara’s presence inside the Harem police station in Idlib province, adding that the kidnapper had been arrested at the same time. According to the sources, Yara’s parents immediately headed to the station to retrieve their daughter. Officers reassured them that procedures were “being completed” and that “within two days Yara would return home.” However, after the family returned from Idlib, they received no new information for nearly ten days. On December 3, the family received a message stating that Yara had been transferred to Sarmada Police Station, without clarification of the reasons for the transfer or her legal status. Yara’s relatives questioned the charge being brought against their daughter, despite her having been a kidnapping victim from the outset, noting that they still do not know the legal basis for her detention or trial, asking: “Has the kidnapper become a witness, and the victim become the accused?”

They keep repeating, “ISIS doesn’t represent the Syrian revolution.” Really? Then why does every symbol they celebrate lead back to ISIS? Al-Sarout pledged allegiance to ISIS. Al-Jolani built his power through ISIS. Their black banners mirror ISIS. Their ideology, discipline, and methods are indistinguishable from ISIS. You cannot disown what you consistently look like, act like, and glorify. If this is not ISIS, it is simply ISIS with a different name.

الشيخ غزال… الموقف الذي أسقط الأقنعة الشيخ غزال… رجل ظهر في اللحظة الأصعب، وثبت حيث عجز كثيرون. نجح في امتحان الكرامة العلوية عندما كان الزمن يضيق، والظروف تلامس حدود القدَر، فوقف كما يقف أصحاب المواقف الحقيقية. نجح في أن يتقدّم المشهد بهدوء الواثقين، وبرقيّ من يحمل هموم الناس قبل همّه، ومن يعرف أن المسؤولية ليست كلمة تُقال بل أمانة تُحمَل. استطاع أن يوصل الصوت العلوي، صوت الحق والمظلومية، إلى كل مكان… بلا ضجيج، بلا تهور، وبلا أن يدفع بأهله إلى طرق لا تشبههم ولا إلى مخاطر لا تليق بقضيتهم. ولأن اللحظات كانت قاسية، ولأن الضغط كان خانقًا، فقد حمل الأمانة كما ينبغي، وحفظ الدم العلوي والأمان العلوي في عنقه، وأثبت أنه أهلٌ لهما بالفعل لا بالقول. ومشهد الإضراب الذي عمّ المناطق العلوية في أكثر النقاط حساسية وسخونةكان الدليل الأوضح على أن الشارع وجد صوته من جديد، وأن هذا الصوت وجد من يمثّله بصدق ومسؤولية. اليوم… غزال حاضر في وجدان كل علوي. حاضر لأنه قال ما لم يجرؤ عليه كثيرون، وفعل ما لم يستطع كثيرون فعله. ونحن أبناء هذا الشارع نرفض الالتفاف على الحقيقة، ونرفض كل محاولة لتفريغ صوتنا من معناه، أو تحميله ما لم يقله. نرفض الخطابات التي تخرج العلوي من ميدانه وتضعه في خانة لا تشبهه ولا تعبّر عنه. ومن واجبي التحذير من خطاب «السِّلم الأهلي» المتسرّب إلى X… لسنا مع الإساءة أو التعرض الشخصي، فهذا ليس أسلوبنا، لكن من حقّنا أن نقول بوضوح: الشارع العلوي يرفض إيقاع هذا الخطاب ويجد فيه تشويهًا لصوته وموقفه. غزال، بموقفه، أسقط الباب الذي حاول هذا الخطاب أن يحبسنا خلفه… فيما لا يزال البعض مُصرًّا على تكريسه. لم يُعجبك خطاب غزال؟ ها هو العرعور التحق به… وبثورته الفاشيه احتفل معهم. واسمع الشتم واللعن على اهلك إن كان لديك رأي مختلف، فهات حجتك ومنطقك، وقل لنا بوضوح سبب رفضك. فنحن نحترم الحجة والمنطق، لا الكلام الخارج من عقدٍ أو ذمّية أو جلدٍ للذات. وبصوت واضح نقول: هذا الكلام مرفوض… لأنه لا يمثّل أهلك ولا مجتمعك، ولا يليق بكل دمٍ وتضحية. #الشيخ_غزال_غزال_يمثلني #الساحل_السوري
