@ShitpostRock2 I disagree, Life is Strange 1 is a gem, and Before the Storm was solid. I didn't enjoy 2 or TC, and haven't played DE due to reviews + SBI involvement. Definitely not the whole "franchise".
English

@AmMansoour @alexrkonrad @sora No you can't, I know about the process. This is what I do. Tag him here, because I know this isn't true.
English

@modder @alexrkonrad @sora Trust me still happening, recently there is this dude from Saudi Arabia who went to the states to trademark his first name just to get x handler and he did. All you have to do is trademark the name in US file it to x.
English

@AmMansoour @alexrkonrad @sora No you can't. There is no way you can trademark a handle on any major platform anymore. X Handles Marketplace is also for businesses; X Premium subscribers can get a "free" handle (tied to their subscription), but it cannot be generic. Businesses can buy generic handles for 6fig+
English

@modder @alexrkonrad @sora Meh, if you can register a trade mark with any name and get proper official registration you can claim that handle for free. X handles marketplace is for general users not commercial.
English

@AmMansoour @alexrkonrad @sora No you can't. Trademarking handles is long gone on all major platforms. X, however, does sell inactive handles now via the X Handles Marketplace, and this one would be in the 6-figure-range, if inactive (it isn't, someone has logged into the account recently).
English

@alexrkonrad @sora You know they can get it through x with proper documentation for free?
English

@UtdTalkCentral @ArcanesDreamer @veizau Why would I lie? I have a pretty small following, and hardly ever comment on things here. I have a pretty big collection of desirable names across multiple platforms.
English

@ArcanesDreamer @veizau I've sold handles for upwards of 100k. X also sells handles directly now, which go into the 7-figure range.
English

@Julianpetroulas @Revolut Not to mention, you deleted your old post with regards to Revolut, and now you have this post commending them. So, I would say, most likely, Nik asked you to remove your previous post and commend them. Instead, you could've kept it up and just replied with a status update.
English

@Julianpetroulas @Revolut How is it a great product? Without your kind of reach, this issue would've still been unresolved for however long. A "good product" would not need a founder to intervene... You're clearly just happy that you got your issue fixed.
English

@mil000 @cluely @im_roy_lee @neelyweely23 One small note, that's not how affiliates work -- To even unlock the "affiliates" option, you have to pay $1,000/mo for "Premium Business - Full Access". The $300/mo version (Basic) does not allow this.
English

Looks like @cluely is almost fully out of money. they have removed all affiliates other than @im_roy_lee and @neelyweely23. Those badges cost $50 a month. I think they're spending too much on engineers since most of them have the original $400k pay package. They now pay 40% less

English

@james_the_fifth @faith_vtch @yusufied And they are debit cards, not credit. The funds are tied to your account.
English

@james_the_fifth @faith_vtch @yusufied I just use Wise, cuz I believe Privacy is US-only. Probably works with Revolut too.
English

@Zoey_Granitz @ad0rnai It's just the image taken by the phone itself. Not the marketing material used. If you zoom in on the bus/tram itself, you'll see the same happen (sills). Lots of phones nowadays do additional processing after the image was taken (whether that be with AI, sharpening, or a mix).
English

@ad0rnai No ik Im not saying its not I think its shitty marketing by them
English

@infolibnews @TeamYouTube For example, if you wanted to search "news": youtube[.]com/results?search_query=news&sp=CAI%253D
"CAI" is the filter for sorting by upload date.
English

@infolibnews @TeamYouTube You can still technically do it. It appears that the function was only removed visually. For example:
youtube.com/results?search…
This breaks down into:
youtube[.]com/results?search_query=[YOUR_QUERY]&sp=[ACTUAL_SEARCH_FILTER]%253D
A plugin could be made to bring it back.
English

YouTube (@TeamYouTube) has removed the ability to search by upload date.
Removing this basic function will make it impossible to find breaking news from small channels with few viewers.
Evidently, force-feeding people "curated" slop is more important than site usability.

@Anon36834 @MisterUppy What do you mean? It is very easy to sell for spot. When you go to a bullion supplier, you will not be able to pay spot price. You will instead have to pay the spot price + the bullion sellers fee. It is very easy to sell for spot, as it is very difficult to buy physical at spot.
English

@MisterUppy its not arbitrage because you cant sell it for spot easily
English

@aphysicist @balajis Optimizing everything just makes you lose your humanity in the process. You spend your time on the things you value; not everything needs to be optimized to the point where you're working 24/7.
English

@balajis i knew a billionaire that would deliberately take the time to walk and get coffee each morning, no one knew who he was, but he enjoyed the ritual of it all. was always astounded how much time he wasted doing this, but maybe the stillness was worth it to him
English

If you are pinging someone who’s busier than you, you should have a single well-thought-out specific ask. Only ask for something you truly cannot do on your own, and where you have done everything you possibly can by yourself.
For example, if you’re asking someone to send an email on your behalf, you should have a draft message ready. If you’re asking them to sign something, you should prepare a docusign beforehand with the signature blocks indicated. Or if you’re asking for an appointment, you should do it at their convenience.
Asking for time is like asking for capital, so be efficient with your asks.
English

@danielchisca A domain investor will happily buy it off of you for a discounted buy-it-now price (if you're in a rush to sell). However, if you're wanting to make real money off the domain, you'll have to sit on it for a bit with a landing page.
English

I want to sell bricks.
I own bricks.com
I reached to all bricks mfgs in the USA.
None called back.
What should I do different?
