The father-in-law of former cricketer and Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Yusuf Pathan, his son, and another relative were arrested for allegedly attacking a man and his family in Mumbai's Byculla area two days ago after the man's car splashed water onto one of them while passing through a pothole. The Bhaykal police station in Mumbai arrested them under sections 118(2), 115(2), 324, 352, 351(2), and 3(5) of the IPC, and one person is absconding. As far as I know , ICAI ensures there is provisions of fans, coolers at the examination centres. Students can complain to local branch if there is no provision of fans/ coolers as it is responsibility of examination centre to make the provision. The best way to avoid all this is shifting the time of paper in morning session. When we use to appear for exam,the timing was 8 AM to 11 AM.

So I hear from a @Lenskart_com employee that their management is now telling them VERBALLY that for the next few days they should come to work wearing bindi/sindoor/Kalawa etc and video audits have been temporarily paused. The whistleblower personally saw it happening in S1 building and confirms similar takeovers are underway in S2 and S3 as well. Corporate India has completely surrendered. The document currently circulating is an outdated internal training document. It is not an HR policy. That said, it contained an incorrect line about bindi/tilak that should never have been written and does not reflect our values or actual practice. When we discovered this on February 17, well before this became a public conversation, we immediately removed it. But I should have caught this earlier. As Founder and CEO, the responsibility for such lapses is mine. I have asked my team to bring all such materials under stricter review, and I will personally ensure this is addressed going forward. We are also looking into how this found its way into our training content. Let me be absolutely clear. Lenskart does not and will never restrict any form of respectful religious expression. This includes bindi, tilak, or any such symbols of faith. Our team members have always been, and will always be, free to express their beliefs with pride.
