GT3 cars are achieving the same speed as the ’26 F1 cars exiting 130R. This one kind of hurts.

People forget that Kimi taking Max out in Austria 2025 cost him at least 12 WDC points. Yet Max still comforted Kimi, saying that’s just how racing goes. Now picture George in that scenario, and the meltdown in Britain if he had lost the WDC by only two points.

Mercedes and their fans are genuinely a virus on the sport When Redbull were dominant no one complained. Except Toto who cried and lobbied for “safety” A car lifting off into an iconic high speed corner is unacceptable, you are just shameless cause your team benefits from it

Max Verstappen kicked a reporter out of a media session over comments made in Abu Dhabi months prior. 😳 Ronald Vording has more.

@formularacers_ Comparing f1 to karting is diabolical. Also in karting the drivers are not slowing down to reserve energy to blast down the straights. All the cars are the same in karting thats why peak performance comes down to the drivers. What is this champ smoking?

🚨 | Lewis Hamilton on the 2026 cars: "It happens in karting all the time, back and forth, back and forth. "Nobody calls it 'yo-yo racing'. It's real racing. So whoever's come up with that is... yeah." lastwordonsports.com/motorsports/20…

Lewis had AD21 put on him and managed to act with dignity and Max throws a fit every few months over journalists asking valid questions. At what point do his fans admit Max cares about his PR and recognise Max tends to lash out at journalists when things arent going his way.
The Race@wearetherace

😳 Verstappen refused to start his media session until The Guardian’s representative left. It is a result of a clash months ago in the Abu Dhabi finale where Verstappen took issue with a question about regretting his crash with George Russell and subsequent penalty at the Spanish GP, in the context of missing out on the world championship by just two points.

The question was asked in bad faith, clearly a setup, followed by a smirk. No respect was shown for a 4-time world champion who made the season worth watching until the final GP. And it’s about time someone stood up against the British media’s demonization of non-British drivers. t’s not just Max, we’ve seen it happen before with Vettel, Alonso, Schumacher, and Senna. 📸[Motorsport]

No doubt my view is coloured by being a member of the media, but think this was pretty out of line from Verstappen. Looks pretty bad on Red Bull too. espn.co.uk/f1/story/_/id/…

@mohfaf1 @nlibrarymouse Lewis’s was because the whole week they’d gone on about him using Snapchat and the press conference looked like it would be more of that Maxs was because a guy 3 months ago had questioned him on an incident

this is why headlines can be dangerous people just read the headline and that one phrase or sentence alone informs their view - this is not just an f1 issue. its what makes world news and the words chosen so dangerous. this is the mild version of the propaganda constantly fed.

Its your choice if you want to answer a question but to force a journo to leave before you start is just childish and pathetic The guy didn't even ask anything out of pocket back in AD, it was about an incident where Max purposefully crashed into someone and cost himself points
Autosport@autosport

"I'm not speaking before you leave the room..." Max Verstappen refused to start his media session today until a journalist who had previously asked him about his incident with Russell in Barcelona last year had left 👀

@mohfaf1 @Aldas001 The question is that Verstapen deliberately drove into Russell because he couldn't control his emotions. That's the unique aspect, which is why he's being asked about it. And because he secretly knows this too, that's how he reacts.

#JapaneseGP 🇯🇵 | Lewis Hamilton says he’s had a “change of attitude,” after a difficult 2025: “[I’m] Just not letting all the BS that surrounds me coming out of people's mouths get in the way of knowing who I am and what I'm able to do. Hopefully you saw that in the last two races, but particularly the last race.” “I'll continue to try and show up and show that for the rest of the year.” “I’ve not lost what I've had, and regardless if some of you or people who write that, I'll continue to show up and I'm training harder than ever.” “I was in Tokyo between this race and the last race, I ran, like, 100km. I know that none of the drivers I'm racing against have trained as hard as I have and given it what I have, especially at my age as well. The commitment is there more than ever and I dedicate absolutely everything I have now to this challenge and to the target that I have.”
