The rise of non-USD (2025.sera.cx) is real. De-dollarisation is also happening at a very quick pace.
By end of 2026, I predict, non-USD volume, especially in the stablecoins sector will grow the fastest!
While I won’t say @seraprotocol is facilitating direct stable swaps bypassing USD…because matter of fact is, most LPs in the first 3-6 months will try their best to deploy against USD rates, underpinning USD as their default “router”.
But we can imagine, we can dream. That’s free and wild and exciting and fun and massive.

Ordered a meal on IndiGo flight yesterday.
Crew said: ₹400 with complimentary drinks.
Fair enough.
When it came to payment:
Cash → ₹400
Credit card → POS only shows $5 on the machine which turns out to be 460 Rs.
I asked why.
Response: Sir cash 400… card 460, our hands are tied.
So basically:
Pay by card = pay 15% extra 🤔
Not because of taxes.
Not because of premium service.
Just because you chose to pay digitally.
In a country pushing UPI & cashless payments… this is what we get onboard?
If ₹400 is meal price , charge the same regardless of payment mode.

Many people don’t understand how to make money from FX.
@seraprotocol is going to partner with thousands of stablecoin ecosystem players in the next few years and drive yield to users through Decentralised Finance (DeFi).
What does these yield include?
1) FX spreads
2) Lending
3) Hedging driven Lending
4) Derivatives driven Lending
5) (Borderless) Payments

Raising funding from VCs in India is significantly more difficult compared to raising funding in Silicon Valley.
Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. If anyone tells you that it is not, they are lying!
In India, apart from your "key unobvious insight", you need 1/3 things (depending on the VC):
1. Hockey Stick Growth
2. Significant Retention
3. Money in the Bank
Been on both sides of the table (trying to raise and doing due diligence for VCs), so can assure you that no one, I repeat no one is going to take a bet on you at idea stage.
Unless you are a rockstar in your field or have a rockstar founding team with people who have raised money before and successfully returned money to their previous investors!
