Amazing how people ask for proof that the artist team on the ATLA movie are upset at the leaks and then when they get it they say to their faces “stop complaining you got paid we’re doing you guys a favor you should be flattered”

We worked on the aang movie for years with the expectation that’d we’d get to celebrate all of our hard work in theaters.. just to see people unceremoniously leak the film and pass our shots around on twitter like candy.. (1/3)

We live in the absolute goofiest timeline where Glitch, an independent animation studio, is about to make millions at the box office, while Paramount - an 100year old studio yanked a sure fire financial hit from theaters only to have it leak on twitter 6months before release.

@moi206n Don't even engage with that bad faith take. It's not worth your time. People make art as a form of expression and how it is seen/viewed is an incredibly important part of creative catharsis. Film is a way to speak to an audience, it's not just hot dogs to scarf down whenever.

Release the film on Paramount Plus asap. Get a limited theaterical run later in the year like KPDH. I really don't see any other path forward and Paramount is delusional if they think they can plug their ears and stick to the original schedule like their past leaks.

If you watch the leaked version of “Avatar Aang: the Last Airbender”, the unfinished version the hackers got that gives no monetary support to the people who made the film… I wish you bad luck for 1000 years. Fuck you if you do that. We watch this film officially in theatres

People acting like this proves pushing to get into more theaters is a waste of time when the email literally provides the solution of what needs to be done and there’s over 2 months to make it happen.

When Markiplier did this, everyone supported him. Glitch does it and suddenly it’s pitchforks? They likely tried tons of cinemas and got rejected, that’s why they’re asking fans to reach out and show demand.

@moi206n @pencilforge He is not saying its wrong to take inspiration from other shows, but rather that you should have varied sources of inspiration because otherwise it will feel like youre just copying someone else's style

this is why you have to look for inspiration for your cartoons from something other than other cartoons
people will be able to tell, and you wont make anything new or interesting
