#Hyderabad : #RoadSafety The #Narsingi police have arrested a person who was driving a car at a very #Dangerous #speed , 200 km/hr on the Outer Ring Road (#ORR) and uploaded the video on social media, causing panic among the motorists. On the 19th of this month, a person named Srikaringula Sairam was driving from Narsingi toll plaza towards Appa junction at a speed of about 200 kilometers per hour, filmed it and posted it on social media. After conducting an investigation, the police arrested the person on Sunday. The police identified him as a resident of Alkapur. The police, who registered a case, seized the car and arrested the accused. Narsingi Police Station CI warned that strict action will be taken against anyone who indulges in rash driving on the roads.

Dear @HYDTP and @ThirumalagiriPS, Today I had a very unpleasant experience with traffic police officials at Thirumalagiri. I had recently returned from the US and did not have Google Pay or PhonePe set up on my phone. I was travelling with my elderly grandparents and was taking them for a medical check-up appointment. Despite explaining the situation and requesting permission to pay the challan online once I reached home, the officers refused and forced me to arrange payment immediately through PhonePe. I had to call someone else and was delayed for a long time, causing us to miss my grandparents’ medical appointment. Even after the payment was completed, their system had not updated yet. I showed them the payment screenshot, but Officer Ramu Naik still refused to trust me and continued arguing instead of verifying properly. Citizens should be treated with professionalism and basic respect, especially when elderly people are involved. This experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. Looking at these scenes, these places will soon look and feel like an average overcrowded Indian city. At least the govt should put a limit on the number of vehicles entering per day.

The #Reckless Bike Racing [#BikeRacing] Fun of the Youth claimed the lives of 5 people on #Palakonda bypass road in #Mahabubnagar , #Telangana (#RoadSafety). Five persons, including 3 members of a family and 2 bikers from #Hyderabad, were killed in a #HighSpeed collision between a #SportsBike and a Hyundai Verna car on Palakonda bypass road in Mahabubnagar early Monday morning at 12.30 AM. According to locals last midnight around 12.30 AM the car was slowly taking U turn, several youths who were doing bike racing, one of the over speeding bikes collided with the car on Palakonda bypass road. The victims identified as Arsha Begum (30), Ujepa (7) and Umar (2), all residents of Mahabubnagar town, while two bikers - one of them was identified as Yakub Afzal (25), a resident of Hyderbad. The locals are expressing deep anger over the bike racing that is taking place especially at night on the bypass road. They alleged that despite repeated complaints to the police, they have not paid attention.

#Hyderabad - #RoadSafety Tragic, 6 people died, after their Speeding WagonR car collided with a Stationary lorry, on Outer Ring Road [#ORR] Exit-16, near Tondupally, #Shamshabad [#RoadAccident] In the #CarAccident, 6 people, travelling in the car died on the spot, while a woman was seriously injured and passerby rescued the woman and shifted to hospital. Police reached the spot and extricated the bodies from the car.
