- I love JG as an ambassador and leader of the program.
- I’m skeptical of his coaching abilities.
- I’m excited for his opportunity to coach our MBB team.
- I’m not confident this will end well.

@TuffyTalkNow Is Schertz THAT much better than Gainey to pay for the buyout and bigger salary? I would rather have Gainey and a larger NIL budget. Also Schertz’s defensive history scares me

This coaching search is INCREDIBLY simple.
Schertz is the 1A because his resume is proven, and Saint Louis’s performance on both sides this season was impressive.
But if it doesn’t work out, be thrilled to offer the job to Gainey who is ready for the opportunity.
