My dad discovered voice notes last year and has fully replaced phone calls with them, He just sends long, unedited, stream of consciousness voice notes sent at random hours. I receive them like dispatches from another world. Voice note received 6:47am Dad: (sound of kettle in background) Good morning. I was thinking about you. I saw something on the television last night about young people and stress and I wanted to check on you. Are you eating. I hope you're eating. Your mother made stew yesterday it was very good. I told her to send you some but she said you live far. I said that's what couriers are for. She said I don't know how to use the courier app. I told her I would do it. I haven't done it yet but I will. Anyway. Call me when you wake up. Or send a voice note. Your mother says you never call. I told her you're busy. Are you busy? Don't be too busy. Okay. Have a good day. Eat something. Bye. (paus It's dad by the way. Me: (listens to entire two minute voice note) Me: (it is 6:47am) Me: (sends voice note back) Me: Dad I know it's you. You're the only one who sends voice notes this long. I'm eating. Tell mum I'll call this weekend. Also you don't need to say bye and then keep talking and then say bye again. Voice note received 6:51am Dad: (laughing) Okay okay. Bye. Me: (smiling at phone at 6:51am) Me: (this is actually the best start to a morning)

Just stumbled on this defamatory case. What’s wrong with some of you? Is it because of small money on X that you are putting your life at risk? A Nigerian prison is not a place you should willingly go to. Have you seen the state of those places?

Dear business owners, there’s nothing really like “we have structure.” Because structure isn’t some static thing you acquire or achieve; it’s a fluid, dynamic capability you constantly refine and build on to run and grow your business. So all that “your business runs without you” no be so ooo. You’ll still run it… just differently, with clarity and direction.

YouTubers be like “wake up at 4am and run, that’s alpha!” No, it’s not. Look at apex predators; they’re all lazy. Bears hibernate, lions sleep all day. You know who wakes up at 4am and runs? Squirrels.

A woman was kidnapped, and one particular man among the kidnappers was the only one who constantly raped her. After the ransom was finally paid, she was released. One day, she went to the bank and saw a man whose body structure looked familiar. Even though all the kidnappers had worn masks, she recognized him from his physique. She immediately alerted the security personnel and explained that the man she had seen at the bank was one of the kidnappers who raped her. The security officer asked if she was certain, and she confidently said yes. She also claimed that the man had a tattoo on his private part and suggested they confirm it. The security officers approached the man, took him into a room, and confirmed that he indeed had the tattoo. After much torture and questioning, he finally confessed to the crime. The woman then called her husband to come over, only for the husband to scream in shock and reveal that the man was his tailor. Most kidnappings are often connected to someone close to the victim. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

My wife will be 55 years old on the 21st of May. We got married when she was only 21. Many people said she was too young, that she should not marry me, that she should finish her education, that she fell for a sweet-talking man who had nothing but wanted only her British citizenship and would discard her afterward. She stuck to her choice. I promised her that I would change her life even in my poverty-stricken state, and I kept my word. I have taken her to over 40 countries, all expenses paid. I have bought her several classy cars. She got her degree at 48. Together, we have built a mini-empire and raised three young lawyers. People ran their mouths, but I disappointed them. Please celebrate my wife with me. God bless you, Bimbo, ❤️❤️❤️

Guys, if you have a successful marriage, it is grace given to you by God o. It’s not because you know how to do it. You can only do your part to be good. You can’t legislate for the other party. Just do your best to be a good guy and pray for grace. I am Ezemmuo. I know things.

I need all career + business women to assemble and flex what your craft has done for you before we lose all the young girls to the ‘soft life+no career+find a provider’ mentality😭

I just got to the office now and heard that my colleague that has been an HR assistant for 10 years Quit.😂 In those 10 years, 3 HR managers have come and gone. All outsiders and they were trained by her. Last one resigned and for the first time, I thought maybe they’d finally see her. Instead, they brought another outsider. So instead of training him as usual, she did something different. She got another job, tendered her resignation and took her one-month leave.😭 Now the office is struggling. HR is a mess. And people are just realizing, She was HR.

I told women do not argue with a prenup. Before signing it, put a fidelity clause. If he cheats, you get half his property. If you cheat vice versa. The men are angry and dragging me. I don’t understand? What did I say wrong?

@SheFell4Russia @lorahmoe Atleast give an intelligent contribution to the conversation, an alternate opinion, theory, thesis, a study, anything. Typing in caps and claiming a person you don't know knows nothing, while not being to articulate your thoughts, is redundant. Anyways, have a good day ahead. ✌️

While I understand everything you just said, you just proved you don't understand BASIC behavioral science nor do you understand Social Science. Or maybe you do and your bias leads to you allowing yourself to seem redundant in a very basic understanding but regardless, my statement stands.

Men really be telling on themselves for free 😭 We’re literally giving away FREE flowers at my job. Like… no catch. No purchase. Just “hey, take these home to your wife or girlfriend.” And almost every man who walked in was like: “Nah, she’s good.” SHE’S GOOD?? 😭 Sir it costs you absolutely nothing to bring home a tiny gesture and make someone smile for 5 minutes. The flowers were FREE. The romance was FREE. The brownie points were FREE. At this point I fully support my own decision to stay single because what do you mean the bar is underground and men still bringing shovels.
